Absolutely love the property. The location is ideal! There is an overall cozy feel, the cottages and homes are gorgeous! Love how all the buildings on the property are nestled in endless greenery. Our room was the best….the tub is my favorite.
The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the location was excellent. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Having a grab and go breakfast as an available option before normal breakfast hours was exceptionally helpful and exemplified their hospitality and care. The on-site parking is excellent but requires additional fees to use and there are limited spots available.
Excellent staff. They were superb. Very helpful in finding parking and with a property tour. Very communicative as well. One of the girls even lugged some luggage up 3 1/5 flights of stairs. They will text you both before your arrival and after to check in with you. Our room was also ready a bit early. The property itself is beautiful and has an excellent location near Duval Street. They also have on-site parking, if you can get it…which is a big plus. Our room had great AC (which isn’t always the case in Key West) and was very comfortable. I couldn’t get the TV to work initially, but someone was up within literally minutes and it was ready to go. Again, staff was A+.

This place was absolutely beautiful. A Perfect name for it, we loved everything about it. Surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were amazing, walked in and the smell was intoxicating, beautiful decor and so serene. Amazing place, we will not stay anywhere else when in the area. Close to Duval St, yet never heard any noise once we arrived back in the room.
A graceful property with charm and style, The Gardens Hotel is an oasis in Key West. The beds and linens are sublime. The location is ideal. The eponymous gardens are special. The staff are genuinely additive to the experience, particularly Phil the bartender.
The hotel is just amazing. stunning accommodation, spacious, exceptionally clean. positively one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. There was entertainment both nights we stayed. The gardens are truly wonderful

The room was a nice size, big bed and comfy pillows. It had a microwave and fridge. The pool area was great, lots of lounge chairs. The food was good. The resort is located right next to Publix and shopping that you can walk to. The shuttle to the airport/downtown was convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It was the best of both worlds.The pool area was a dream — quiet, relaxing, and the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. One of the biggest perks was the shuttle service: it was always available, super convenient, and made getting to and from town effortless. We never had to worry about parking or walking in the heat.This place truly gave us a relaxing, worry-free stay. Quiet, comfortable, overall good stay. The amenities were great, and the shuttle service was a game changer—though we did opt for Uber when shuttle time slots weren’t available. The pool was quaint, the concierge was helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I would definitely stay here again, especially to escape the noise of Old Town.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay as well as full of nice amenities such as the pool, bar, bath bombs, coffee and robes to use. I enjoyed the large room and bathroom in addition to veranda to sit and sip my coffee in the morning.

The hotel design was beautiful and the staff were excellent. Extremely fast and flexible check in - we arrived early and they kept us informed by phone when the room was ready. We were able to leave our bags and get changed to walk around the town in the mean time. Really lovely bar, restaurant and lobby area. Rooms were also well kept and nicely designed.

Absolutely love the property. The location is ideal! There is an overall cozy feel, the cottages and homes are gorgeous! Love how all the buildings on the property are nestled in endless greenery. Our room was the best….the tub is my favorite.

Having a grab and go breakfast as an available option before normal breakfast hours was exceptionally helpful and exemplified their hospitality and care. The on-site parking is excellent but requires additional fees to use and there are limited spots available.
Excellent staff. They were superb. Very helpful in finding parking and with a property tour. Very communicative as well. One of the girls even lugged some luggage up 3 1/5 flights of stairs. They will text you both before your arrival and after to check in with you. Our room was also ready a bit early. The property itself is beautiful and has an excellent location near Duval Street. They also have on-site parking, if you can get it…which is a big plus. Our room had great AC (which isn’t always the case in Key West) and was very comfortable. I couldn’t get the TV to work initially, but someone was up within literally minutes and it was ready to go. Again, staff was A+.

The apartment was spacious, well kept, and the location was excellent for being near Duval Street but not in the overly touristy part of Key West. The staff were courteous and helpful. Douglas House was very friendly to our pet golden doodle. We also appreciated the free parking provided by the Inn.

We were greeted by Hamzi, who was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about things to do and places to eat in Key West. Hamzi showed us to our room and he made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy! The grounds were beautiful and we loved the 24 hour coffee bar near the pool. The entire staff was outgoing, warm, friendly and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect and we would definitely stay at the Douglas House in the future.

This is a beautiful hotel and grounds. The staff were wonderful and friendly; this was apparent from the moment we walked in. We were able to check in early, which was expected, but a nice surprise. We checked into our beautiful cozy room. Yes, on the smaller side, but all we needed was a bed and bathroom. It was clean, bright and had everything we needed (including a mini fridge). The private porch area was awesome and comfy. We ventured over to the pool and bar area. Absolute serene pool areas, lush with green and well-maintained areas. The bar was cute, had a couple bites to eat, and full bar. Bartender was great, lots of recommendations for the area. Breakfast was great, coffee was hot and plenty of options to start your day. There was an additional menu of more hearty options, but we thought what was out was ample. Spent one morning in the pool - water was warm and clean. This place is 2-3 blocks of Duval Street, but then pretty much in the middle. Took us 20 minutes to get to either side of Duval (Southernmost point or Mallory Square). Lots of walking, but that was perfect. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this place - highly recommend. I would stay here again in a hear beat.

The location was excellent. Pick up at the airport was great. The driver was very polite. My room was not ready when I arrived so I did have a bit of a wait. I went to the pool side tiki bar, service and food left ALOT to be desired. I would NOT waste my money there. I waited a long time to check in and when I approached the front desk the clerk was quite rude. He informed me that he texted me. I had not received a text and I inquired what number and let him know I didn’t receive a text and was just checking to see if the room was ready he was again rude. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. The breakfast was fabulous. The front desk also had bottled water for free. The concierge was also great. I rented a scooter for the duration of my stay. It was a really magnificent way to site see.

This place was absolutely beautiful. A Perfect name for it, we loved everything about it. Surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were amazing, walked in and the smell was intoxicating, beautiful decor and so serene. Amazing place, we will not stay anywhere else when in the area. Close to Duval St, yet never heard any noise once we arrived back in the room.

Absolutely love the property. The location is ideal! There is an overall cozy feel, the cottages and homes are gorgeous! Love how all the buildings on the property are nestled in endless greenery. Our room was the best….the tub is my favorite.

Excellent staff. They were superb. Very helpful in finding parking and with a property tour. Very communicative as well. One of the girls even lugged some luggage up 3 1/5 flights of stairs. They will text you both before your arrival and after to check in with you. Our room was also ready a bit early. The property itself is beautiful and has an excellent location near Duval Street. They also have on-site parking, if you can get it…which is a big plus. Our room had great AC (which isn’t always the case in Key West) and was very comfortable. I couldn’t get the TV to work initially, but someone was up within literally minutes and it was ready to go. Again, staff was A+.

The apartment was spacious, well kept, and the location was excellent for being near Duval Street but not in the overly touristy part of Key West. The staff were courteous and helpful. We were greeted by Hamzi, who was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about things to do and places to eat in Key West. Hamzi showed us to our room and he made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy! The grounds were beautiful and we loved the 24 hour coffee bar near the pool. The entire staff was outgoing, warm, friendly and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect and we would definitely stay at the Douglas House in the future.
