It was cute, however I had to pay to upgrade for a room from this century, then my 'updated' room had mold, no shower pressure, and a non working phone. I didn't complain until the shower pressure was so low it barely worked.

Terrible experience at DoubleTree by Hilton New York. The AC was not working, making the room 82°F and suffocating, and my kids couldn’t sleep all night. The manager was extremely rude and said, “God is my manager, go talk to God.”

Hotel employee was a pleasure, extremely friendly, and very helpful. I am not sure what are with the negative reviews about a mandatory $142 upgrade, this was not the case. I would 100% stay here again.

Nothing the light doesn’t work. There was a strong smell of marijuana that permeated the room. The bed was awful, super hard, the bathtub was slippery and I almost fell, the TV didn't work, and to top it all off, they never cleaned the room.

The Magnolia Hotel is a great value for the star level and location. I got a clean and well appointed room. Good size for one or two persons. Came with a closet and a tub/shower combo. Comfortable bedding. Overall clean.
