Review summary

The hotel received mixed reviews, with many guests praising its excellent location near attractions and public transportation, as well as the spacious and comfortable rooms with great views. However, numerous complaints highlighted cleanliness issues, such as dusty rooms and dirty bathrooms, along with a lack of basic amenities and maintenance. While some found the staff to be friendly and helpful, others noted inconsistency in service and overall value for money, making it a hotel with both strengths and areas needing improvement.

The hotel has a perfect location and a stunning view. Of course, it’s a budget-friendly hotel, so don’t expect luxury, but overall, it’s very nice. The rooms are clean and have everything you need — for example, a fridge, TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, and some small complimentary items. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. We had a broken fridge, and when I told the receptionist, they changed our room without hesitation. In the second room, the bathroom door got stuck, but again, the reception sent maintenance immediately, and they fixed it.

Just a heads-up: you’ll be asked to pay a $150 deposit. I didn’t receive it back after two weeks, but I called the hotel, and they apologized and released it right away.

The rooms was clean.

The Fridge was broke. Outside the hallways was dirty. And it was some smell kept lingering around. The elevators was not working. We had to use the staff elevator. The wait for the elevator was terrible. You had to wait at least a hour and more just to get on. Worse experience ever. I spoils never go back in my opinion. I

Awesome location and rooms are so spacious. Internet is good, comfortable stay, and amazing views from the rooms unless. I booked the corner window room at the higher floor. Simply loved everything about the hotel . Out of all hotels it’s best value for money considering the location and room size

The location is brilliant as it’s right across the street from the 9/11 memorial and it’s away from the hustle of Times Square etc. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfy I didn’t want to go home! The only negative was that the lifts were all out of action so we had to use the service lift. As there was only one lift for guests and staff we spent too long waiting around for the lift up to our room which wasn’t great at the end of a tiring day. We used the stairs when coming down as we were only 3 floors above reception and there was a separate lift from there to the ground. Overall this was a great hotel which offered excellent value for money!

the location is great... that's about it.

none of the elevators were working; all guests had to use 1 freight elevator and it took a long time to get up and down, with staff using it in the morning as well;there was no hand soap or body wash in the bathroom; no kleenex either; I went hunting for these items and couldn't find any anywhere; housekeeping staff told me they had noneThe main floor restaurant/bar is now closed permanently

The location is great. Very close to the 9/11 memorial and lots of subway stations around.

THIS IS NOT A 4 STARS HOTEL. They don’t provide soap/shampoo/conditioner. We had to go buy soap to be able to wash our hands in the bathroom sink. We asked the staff about it and they acted all confused as if soap is this big luxury. They also don’t provide any tea/coffee amenities. The furnitures were broken. The TV never worked. The shower looked like it was fixed by someone who doesn’t know how to fix it. I’ve seen many reviews complaining about the elevators but I thought by the time I’ll get there it will surely be fixed - wrong! Only one of three elevators is working and it takes forever. And if there are too many people with suitcases, you need to wait more. We’ve booked a corner room but we got a room that looks nothing like the pictures. I’ve been to 3 stars hotels before that were much nicer than this so called 4 stars hotel. Also I’m pretty sure the restaurant downstairs is some kind of brothel. We accidentally entered by the elevator and had to go through the restaurant to get to the stairs and it was filled with young women sitting alone or with shady men.

- The hotel is in a very good spot.- Good price, nice views.

- Pretty bad maintenance, I've been realizing everytime I come (this is actually my 5th time), something is not working properly. This last stay the Wi-Fi didn't work and I was unable to do something important on my computer so I had to book another hotel. I guess it was just bud luck. Also, one of the elevators was out of service.- Room Set-up: no coffee maker. There is any water any tee just anything to offer as welcoming. For some reason, they don't replace the Gel/Shampoo, is just annoying.
