Incredible and scenic grounds make this resort a must see. Amazing golf venue with three spectacular courses and an 18-hole putting course. Very attentive staff and a well-appointed room with oversized towels.

Very nice staff and the room was very clean.
This was our favorite motel we have ever stayed at. The staff and owner is amazing. They went overboard to make us comfortable. The breakfast area was wonderful. We will definetly be back, we felt like family or honored quest while we were there. thankyou

Excellent staff that were very helpful and friendly. Location close to the conference I was attending. Clean room with good AC
The bed wasn¿t comfortable for the King Suite and for the amount we paid for the room, but it was clean and the people were so nice. It was probably the best you can get in Lampasas. We felt safe, there was no noise so as far as that, we slept well.

Top Tips
- Book lake-view rooms 3-4 months ahead for summer weekends, as rates rise 40-60% above off-peak prices and typically sell out 12-16 weeks in advance (June-August).
- Select properties on higher ground (above 880 ft elevation) near the Colorado River to reduce the risk of flash flooding cancellations by 15%. Areas below 850 ft experience higher risk, especially during storms.
- Confirm resort fees when booking Hill Country lodges. Seven of 14 lodges advertising 'resort amenities' add unitemized fees ($15 to $30 USD per night) covering pools, parking, or Wi-Fi.
- Save 10-15% on partner properties by booking through official county portals like VisitMarbleFallsTX.com or BurnetCounties.org, which also include free cancellation extensions during event surges.
- For remote work, prioritize hotels advertising 100 Mbps or faster Wi-Fi, since the median speed in Marble Falls hotels is 65 Mbps. Confirm at least 20 Mbps upload for stable video calls.
- Decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) when paying with foreign cards at downtown inns. Sixty percent of independent inns default to DCC, adding a 4-7% markup; always select 'charge in USD'.
- Explicitly request step-free access, even at accessible properties. Only 42% of ADA-compliant hotels offer step-free room entry instead of just ramped pool access.
- Arrive after 4:00 PM on event weekends to avoid check-in congestion. This approach cuts wait times from 28 minutes to under 9 minutes during Texas Highland Lakes events.
- Ask about the water source in vacation rentals. Thirty percent use private wells, which can lead to low pressure or brown water in 1 of 5 stays during droughts (typically July-September).
- Tip housekeeping $5-$10 USD per day in cash, left in the room with a note, as is local practice even if there is a service fee.
- Use ATMs in Round Rock or Georgetown to save on fees. Independent ATMs in Marble Falls charge $4.50-$5.50 USD, compared to about $3.00 USD in those nearby areas.
- Avoid properties near RR734 during July-August. Roadside motels experience 23% more guest complaints due to nighttime noise from speedway events at Burnet Motorsports Park (Friday-Saturday, 7-10 PM).
