The Horseshoe Bay Resort is located off Highway 2147 and is an hour’s drive from Austin. This pet-friendly resort features 3 championship golf courses and a full-service spa on-site. Horseshoe Bay Resort features 4 restaurants and 1 pool bars. Guests can use one of the 3 swimming pools, 14 tennis courts or the fully-equipped fitness center. A kids' club and a business center are also available. Every room offers a pool or resort view and a bath robe. A mini-refrigerator and coffee maker are provided. In-room movies and a 55-inch flat-screen TV are also included. The Highland Lakes Air Museum and Marble Falls historic district are a 12 minutes' drive of the Resort Horseshoe Bay. Fredericksburg is an hour's drive away.

- Location was really pretty.
- Nice quiet little resort close enough for less than 4 hr drive from home. Which is good for Texas.
- Nice grounds, food, atmosphere, good for golfing
Cons -
- It was extremely noisy on the pool view side of the hotel. There was a wedding that went past 11pm with music so loud it shook my bed from the base. I also question their cleaning process- there was food and sodas left behind in the refrigerator.
- A little too pricy on food.
- We were unaware that they changed their policy to no longer allow overnight guests access to the Yacht Club beach after June 1 unless you¿re a member, and this was main reason we came back to this resort because we came years back and loved that area.
