Pleasantness of staff and the "Kickback Hours" which included a tasty comprehensive dinner each night. With the current cost of eating out - this was an excellent value (and even included salad, veggies, and hot dogs and soda). Area kept very clean.

The room was AMAZING! Having paid just $---, I expected avg room. The room was LARGE; it had a LARGE microwave, a LARGE fridge, a 2-buner built-in stove top, dishes, utensils, and even a dishwasher!
The kichenette is a winner. There's also a very nice spaciousness with the bathroom and the desk. The decor is good, too.

It was quiet and relaxing
The hotel was filthy, reaked of smoke and urine and we had to go and find another place to stay. For safety this place should be closed until it can pass mínimum safety and cleanliness standards.
The only thing this hotel had going for it was the receptionist, college student. she was wonderful, helpful, saving grace, apologetic to the horrible condition's hotel was in. There is nothing positive about, not even use Homeless shelter

Beautiful lobby.Which lets you know it used to be a very nice hotel and the staff is excellent.They did let me know that there had been a flood recently from the sewer pipes , but that it had been cleaned up and that their might be a smell.

The size of the shower/bathroom were nice, updated decor, quick trip to downtown Asheville, comfy desk chair and work station space. Glad that Asheville had a curfew from 11p-6a due to hurricane Helene edfects to cut down on street noise out front.

I really enjoyed the suite, it was so beneficial, and the location was five minutes from my daughter, whom house was so full for the holidays, I had fun with my family, but I needed two days of quiet, relaxing rest alone-time, and I slept so good!

Absolutely horrible. Staff was the worst I have ever come into contact with. I will NEVER stay at this hotel or any other Microtel again because of the rude and dishonest and dirty staff.
