The location is perfect for Bourbon St/Riverwalk/etc. There are plenty of options to walk to for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Hotel rooms are nice; we stayed on the River Tower side that is already renovated. A store/Starbucks/Burger Bar is downstairs.

There are a number of things that I enjoy at the hotel... breakfast, happy hour, indoor pool, and so forth. However, most of all I enjoy the professional and courteous service from at the front desk. Her service always exceeds expectations.

Breakfast was included and the omelet station was exceptional. The only negative critique was the bacon strips were over done to a crispy chip. The coffee was excellent. I also enjoyed my Bloody Mary during happy hour.

The location was in a nice area, but there was a couple of homeless people parked in the space designated for customers. They were standing outside changing their clothes and throwing trash onto the sidewalk upon our arrival to check in.

Nothing. I suppose not having ac in the west corridor of the 5th floor was nice being that it was only 95 degrees outside with a 108 heat index. Wallpaper was stapled on at the seams on the 5th floor I thought that was a nice touch.

It looks they are in the process of remodeling this hotel. The lobby is very nice and the staff is friendly. The rooms and specifically the bathrooms need to be updated. But, for the price it's hard to complain as this was still a good value.
