Cons -
- Not a thing!!
- Noisy toilet.
- Since the hotel is more of an Inn, it was challenging that there is no elevator. We stayed on the top floor which was a lot of stairs to climb, but it was ok because it was overlooking the town square. Also, the shower only had hot scolding water only. Also the faucet is the old school, the hot and cold are separate faucets and the hot faucet was loose. The kettle needs to be replaced the metal on the inside was rusty.I wish they had a blackout drapes. Also, when we checked in, there was an odor but we opened up the windows and it made it a little better.

The property was within walking distance to the cliffs and the beach which was really beautiful. The highlight was the Bow Fiddle Rock. The property itself was charming, the location was peaceful and very quiet. The owner David was very hospitable, very nice and accommodating. It was also convenient that there is a bar and restaurant for dinner, since there were very limited options we were grateful that they had a restaurant. Breakfast was included and plenty of food. David also makes eggs and other hot items upon request. The Cajun shrimp from the dinner menu was awesome and the Cauliflower soup was so delicious had it both for two consecutive nights. There were cookies, teas, coffees, treats in the room. The room was spacious enough with TV. We met a people in town and everyone is so nice.

Food was very good and bar choices were excellent. Friendly staff and locals. Really enjoyed our stay
Hotel and Room was spotless the bed was comfortable, great walk in shower, breakfast was really great, also meals at night were delicious. Total relaxed atmosphere will be returning, owners of hotel are so easy to talk to and would go out there way to see you are enjoying your time there.
Everything was great can’t find a single negative thing to say.
Lovely hotel and lovely staff. The Place Is fantastic with wonderful cliffs and the iconic now fiddle rock.
There was nothing that I didn't like .
The owners were very helpful. They upgraded us to a larger room which was very kind so we had a view across the rooftops to the sea. The room was warm and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit (unusual for Scotland) and cereal/toast buffet and bacon and eggs cooked to order.Excellent location for the Moray Coast.
I cant really think of anything better. The cooked breakfast could do with more trimmings rather than just bacon and egg but I dont really want a cooked breakfast every day so it didn't matter to me.
Lovely clean and comfortable room. It was so peaceful so had the best 2 nights sleep. Super friendly proprietors.
Nothing at all
The people who run it were friendly, excellent and very accommodative. It is well known in the town and is a stone throw from the famous "Bow & Fiddle Rock" .
The room I booked was advertised as "Sea View". But it was merely out of a single window, and just the horizon was visible. It is not at the shore. It is in the town and has a couple of streets before you can get to the street. You can see the sea but that's like watching out of an aeroplane.
Room was very fresh and clean, nice shower, exceptionally comfy bed and great nights sleep, sea view from the room, tea/coffee facilities, apparently we were in one of the few rooms still to be upgraded, however we couldn't fault it, was nice as it was. Mattress had just been renewed and it was so comfy we have just bought the same one at home!!! Breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of cereal, pastries etc (everything you would want) to help yourself to and also very quick service with the cooked breakfast and tea and coffees, Cooked food was great and just the right amount. 4 of us all enjoyed our stay and also enjoyed the local area, were visiting family in Buckie and this was just a 10 minute drive/taxi (which hotel arranged for us. Everyone very friendly and helpful.
Historical places in the small village, we stayed one night as a transferring night. In the village the hotel is the restaurant and the pub also! Great food and people.
As an advice to improve I suggest to make the breakfast as nice as the dinner
Lovely breakfast, friendly staff and super accomodating helping us to securely store our bikes for our stay.
We had soms issues with the shower having tempermental flow and temperature
The staff were all amazing.Couldn’t help us enough.Room was clean and comfortable and food was amazing.Wouldn’t hesitate in staying again.
Room (spotless), breakfast, friendly bar.
Long, steep stairs to room.
Fabulous stay . Lovely room and very dog friendly. Excellent breakfast and nice hosts . Will definitely be back :)
Friendly staff. Very welcoming to our dog. Helpful at all times.
The room has space for a bigger bed, we would have loved a bigger bed.
Family run hotel in the heart of the village, which was the heart of the village to locals and travellers. Less than ten minutes from the famous bow fiddle rock.
It was all good.
