Skyros Ammos Hotel

A wonderful accommodation by the sea, and a short distance from the island's center, with easy access from the airport and the port. Just a breath away from the area's beaches. An exceptional team of people ready to respond to every need.

Staff were super friendly and helped us with booking a scooter, arranging laundry to be done, and recommendations on beaches to visit on the island.

Nothing, the hotel met our expectations and we loved the island and the locals. We will be back!

Great location, fabulous staff and wonderful breakfast. The view from our room was amazing and the beds were super comfortable. Close to beaches and grocery shops. A taxi to the chora was only 5 Euros ?

Access to the hotel was somewhat difficult - especially with luggage. It's probably a matter of choice, but we didn't like that the hotel only had a (very) salt(y) water pool. We would have preferred a pool with fresh water pool.

The location is fantastic, walking distance from town, almost on the beach with a beach club just a stone throw away. Also the hotel is beautiful and well structured. Breakfast is great with home made delicacies. Most of all the staff are great people, special thanks to Matina who suggested and relentlessly booked for us restaurants and a sailing tour.

It is in need of a bit of modernization. They told us that they are going to renovate this winter.

Nice pool area, 1 min away from the beach, nice breakfast, very polite and helpful staff, room size, air conditioning

No view from the room, room was semi-basement, small TV, only offered limited public street parking, construction work next door caused dust and noise

The location is very optimal for going to the beach and the nearby restaurants. The staff was very nice, our child felt very welcomed and had a great time. The room was comfortable, with plenty of privacy to sit outside in front. When we go back to Skyros we will book here again.

Third time we visit Skyros and stay at Ammos Hotel.Best hotel on the island with a great location.Very comfortable,clean and big rooms.Hotel situated just over Magazia sandy beach which is very nice to swim,with lots of beach bars and restaurants available.Nice swimming pool with sunbeds,very nice restaurant with good food and nice view.The breakfast is very tasty with local products.Very good wifi,staff is very helpfull.Skiros town is just 5 minutes away by car or taxi,its a 5 euros drive.Would definitely come back,Ammos Hotel and Skyros island are amazing.

breakfast was superb , location was very good as well . walking distance to the beach and to some of the most famous restuarants and bars. personnel very friendly

no parking availability . so when we arrived we had to make circle in order to find a place to stop and give our laggage . luckily the landlord had arrange for staff to wait on the main road to assist with baggage but the whole process was uncomfortabel and unsafe .

Just everything was perfect!! The warm-hearted guest, the location, the beautiful room, the delicious breakfast and the many fresh orange juices that I drunk!! definitely not my last stay there!

The location of the hotel was fantastic, we loved the breakfast buffet as it was abundant in fresh and local products, cleanliness throughout the property was evident and the entire staff’s attitude and manners were impeccable.We highly recommend the Ammos Hotel to anyone looking to stay on Skyros.

The hotel was very quiet and comfortable, close to the water with everything you could need for a short stay.

Great location, on a walkable distance from the beach and the main village. Clean room and premises, while the staff was super friendly and polite. Highly recommend to stay there if your are a couple and want to relax and decompress.

Beautiful reworking of the traditional style houses.. however be prepared to walk, as these settlements are non-automobile access - only walking routes - and the property is on a mild slope less 20m below the main road. But beautiful views and breakfast: one of the best, including traditional pastries!

Fantastic warm place family run, yet very professional. Not a thing a can think of that would not fit. And last not least I dont eat in hotels I stay, I had a lunch at the swimming pool and it was by far better than what I had anywhere there.Well deserved 10 and surely I will be back once Skyros is a target.

Pleasant

1. Small pool with salt water.No view from room terrace - facing the wall.

Great location for us, near the major beaches and walk to the village (though steep on both counts). The addition of a pool was great and the ocean views from our room were spectacular. The room was modern and well-maintained. Breakfast on the pool terrace was generous and in a lovely setting. The poolside couches were a stylish a feature. The whole place was cute. The staff were awesome.

Steep step access to and from the hotel entrance. We upgraded to a larger suite which gave us an upstairs room. It was super easy to the pool which we loved, and the view was fabulous, but the steep stairs to our bedroom less so. the shower room was small and dark, though modern and clean. We missed having tea making facilities in our room. We could not visit with anyone with a mobility challenge, the access to most things on the island and the hotel is too problematic. But if you’re fit it’s ideal.

Breakfast was great. Very tasty and wide range of home- cooked dishes in very pleasant setting.

In a very good location this hotel offers very clean, comfortable and stylish rooms decorated to the detail. Breakfast is of good quality, offering some local specialities. Staff very kind and helpful

Poor WiFi reception in the room.

This is an upscale hotel for Skyros. it did not disappoint. Staff are excellent. Food was great. Main beach is 5 min walk. We will return to this property when we come back!
