Hydroussa Skyros

Great location, the rooms were really nice,renovated and clean.Great views,really nice balcony and great air conditioning. We loved our stay at Hydrousa.The receptionist Anna was wonderful!

Love to have fresh fruit for breakfast but peaches were very hard. Fresh fruit salad would nice

The staff was exceptional. They responded immediately to any request. The room was a good size. There was a balcony overlooking the beach. The light was good.

For breakfast they needed to supply trays to transport the food. In the bathroom they could have used an overhead showerin addition to the hand shower. There was no elevator.

We had a lovely stay at the Hydroussa Skyros. It was still low season when we visited so for most days we were the only guests in the entire hotel. The Hydroussa's location is unbeatable, right on the beach, and within walking distance from the town of Skyros as well as a great variety of restaurants and bars on Magazia and Molos beach. The rooms (I believe all have sea views) were very comfortable and had nice balconies. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the breakfasts were very generous. Skyros is a very special place with its own distinct culture. We would love to visit again and would certainly stay at the Hydroussa again on a future visit.

The location is just perfect, visiting Skyros every year we finally found the most conveniently located place, first of all, it's straight on the best beach in Magazia, close to very good taverna Stefanos and also within working distance to Skyros hora through the upward path, so we didn't use the car at all.

Parking could have some tents for the shadow, hope the owner will do it next year as they are constantly investing and improving the facilities of the hotel.

The location is probably the best on the island: very close to the sea( beach front with the great sea view from all the rooms, as well as within walking distance from the city centre by the minor pavement up the hill.

Even though the hotel was a bit upgraded last year, it still needs some essential improvements inside, like doors, beds, and mattresses.

The location is fantastic right on the beach yet away from hustle and bustle…Very peaceful stay. You can go to sleep listening to the sea, even take a photo of the sunrise from your bed (as I did!). Each room has its own private balcony, with stunning views. Has beautiful interiors, and exteriors. The breakfasts were fantastic, lots of variety, plus different traditional Greek pastries every day. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Certainly plan to return and stay for more than 4 nights!

Nothing, I loved being there!

Staff were amazing. Very polite, always with a smile and willing to help in any way they could.Fantastic location. A few meters from the sea. Nothing compares to falling asleep under the sounds of the waves. Private parking is another big plus for the area, as in high season is almost impossible to park around there and there is always the risk of someone scratching your car.

The facilities were very old and a refresh is long overdue. The room was very small for a family of three. We could barely move around and not bump to each other. Same goes for the bathroom. 1 person could barely move and turn around. Imagine trying to give a three year old a shower...

Very good breakfast!

It is a real pity that the management of this hotel (that was one of the best in Skyros ages ago and with a location so superb ,probably the best in the island ) dont invest a little to improve everything.
