The staff, Janos was very friendly, helpful. Place was peaceful.

Nonrefundable ticket. But I changed my mind the day before.

A bit of an outdated hotel but it was clean and the staff was very friendly. My dog was welcome but not allowed to go to the restaurant. A bit of a surprise was the closeness to a shooting range as my dog is a bit sound sensitive, but luckily the shooting ended quite early and so we did have a quiet night sleep. Breakfast was good value for the money. I would come back again on my way through to Scandinavia.

Good location to stay over when travelling with a car. Nice little part to walk a dog. The hotel was quiet.

Awful stench in the room, not sure if it was mold or urine. Stained carpet. If we hadn't arrived so late in the evening, we would have left without staying. The next morning, the staff didn't bother to ask how our experience was, only wanted to know if we had already paid for the dog. I'll have nightmares about this place.

A great place for dogs thanks to the garden. And the Italian restaurant in the garden is excellent.

We heared noise from the highway all night, it was a very warm night so we couldn't close the window. When closed you hardly hear the highway.

Room is spacious and clean, and beds are comfortable. We came after the reception was closed but we got message with all the info regarding check in and it was easy. Breakfast was delicious.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a very good buffet. Beds are comfy, just would have liked an extra pillow.

It is not that I did not like it, but it seems the property is still the same as 25 years ago. Everything is very clean and functioning, but it feels a little bit like a museum.

Pillow is extremily thin - need a second/extra pillow or thicker pillow. Definitely something to improve. I will request extra pillow next time I come for sure.Any jam in a big pot would be better quality that the jam in individual plastic closed container and most likely even more economic.

Good value stay right off the highway. Very friendly reception and clean rooms. The breakfast is a great deal compared to other accomodations.

Great location by lake and woodland for walks. Near supermarkets and restaurants.

The location was perfect. We liked the sea and the green landscape. It was calm and quiet.

No air condition. No blackout curtains.

Last minute booking, excellent room, safe parking, and awesome restaurant on property. Beautiful grounds. Very helpful gentleman at check in answered questions, retrieved extra pillows, and personally assisted with parking.

Missed a kettle in my room for coffee and tea. But lovely restaurant downstairs.

The location is not too far from the highway. From Hamburg city it takes about 30 mins by car.

This is our favourite hotel when we travel from Norway to The Netherlands and back. We've stayed there many times. Very friendly staff and great breakfast.

Especially awesome as it wonderful backyard with a lake and green trail - We traveled with our dog which made the location perfect for us personally. But also a great spot with kids. The lake even has a dog swimming area. The building is of Old style classic style but rather well maintained. The hotel has two entrances: Main and one back entry from the parking lot. Friendly reception staff who gave us clear instructions on the second entry as this was often mentioned in other reviews - I can confirm that we had no issues with that or with any smoking-related smells- so they certainly took the feedback on that and also made some renovations to improve the overall state. The room though basic was clean, beds are older so not entirely comfy but not as bad especially if it’s for short stays.Did not opt for breakfast, so cannot comment on that; though the reception staff asked us to inform the prior in case we wanted to have breakfast - as it’s „on demand“.Unfortunately, restaurant with the lake side view seems to permanently closed and this is clearly mentioned on the listing. However if it was open, this would have been wonderful.

Accommodation is nice, clean and it remindes me on childhood :) Breakfast is also very good!

Hotel is pet friendly, and accommodation for the dog is charged but they are not allowed in breakfast area. It would more be dog tolerate than dog friendly hotel.
