This 19th-century coaching inn is located in the heart of Chester city center. There is a 4-star award-winning restaurant downstairs and 8 rooms above. All rooms are nonsmoking and come complete with an private bathroom, free WiFi, a TV, mini-fridge and ironing facilities. A full English breakfast and continental buffet is available for an additional cost. - Location and the food were fantastic. There is a garage lot 300 ft behind the hotel which is great. The Main Street in front of the hotel is closed to traffic and is used as a town square and shopping dining area. Very old and unique. We loved it

- Good breakfast, friendly staff and great location.
Cons -
- Room was hot and no air conditioning. We had a fan which made it bearable. No elevator. So I put clothes in a small bag out of suitcase so I wouldn’t have to haul it up stairs
