The hotel is close to the Christmas party we were attending. We had stayed there before and liked it but we will look else where next time.
The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. They maintained a warm and friendly environment at every interaction.
The hotel itself was ok.The rooms are large and clean but for a handicap rm, it was on the 3rd floor farthest from the elevator, then in the rm, the microwave, the coffee maker, faucet and toilet were all broken. Maintenance would come til tomorrow

Room was clean and recently updated. Bed was comfortable and the tv and air conditioning worked. Not much more I can ask for.
The location was excellent since it allowed easy freeway access and had a variety of restaurants and retail sites within just a few minutes of driving. It¿s somewhat off the beaten track, surrounded by office complexes, so it¿s quiet.

Top Tips
- Secure rates up to 25% lower by booking 45-60 days early, since San Ramon weekends tend to fill up due to corporate events. Check each hotel's cancellation policy to ensure flexibility if your plans may change.
- If traveling from abroad, choose to pay in USD at checkout and decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) to avoid 3-5% in extra card charges.
- Hotels north of Bollinger Canyon Road average 8-12 dB less ambient noise, making them ideal for rest or remote work. If quiet is important, ask hotel staff to confirm your room's orientation when booking.
- For step-free access, request 'zero-step entry' and elevator access in writing, since only 38% of hotels built before 2010 offer fully step-free room access. Confirm ADA features with the property at booking for reliable support.
- Marriott and Hilton properties typically provide Wi-Fi speeds of 102-135 Mbps, which is suitable for video calls and remote work. For the most stable connection, inquire about premium or wired options at check-in.
- Minibar snacks cost up to 400% more than store prices. Use the in-room fridge for items from Safeway or Whole Foods, both less than 10 minutes away.
- Rooms facing Bollinger Open Space average 4-6°F cooler due to natural shade, which is ideal for comfortable sleep and less reliance on air conditioning. Request this room orientation at booking if you prefer milder temperatures.
- Hotel rates near Bishop Ranch rise 30-45% for conferences, and rooms can sell out 7-9 weeks early. Check the Bishop Ranch events calendar before finalizing your travel dates.
- Local ATMs from Bank of America or Chase within 0.5 miles help you avoid hotel ATM surcharges of $5.50-$6.50. If visiting from abroad, confirm your debit card's international access before your trip.
- About 76% of extended-stay hotels default to daily housekeeping, but you can reduce room disturbances and environmental impact by opting out at check-in. Ask about alternative cleaning schedules when you arrive.
- Tap water in San Ramon is potable, but if you are sensitive to taste or have allergies, you can find bottled brands like Dasani and Crystal Geyser at 7-Eleven or Safeway within 1.5 miles. Some hotels offer complimentary bottled water upon request.
- Combine AAA/CAA and eligible corporate rates by calling the hotel directly, which could save you $35-$55 per night. Confirm with your chosen property that discounts can be stacked before booking.
