    • The people are super friendly. Helpful. The inn is excellent. Loved sitting by the fire and reading.
    • All the workers affiliated with this Inn could not have been friendlier or more helpful! The area is beautiful beyond words!! We had a wonderful time!!! Even the other guests were friendly!!! You felt like you were home!!
    • inn is very cozy, staff are warm, friendly and very accommodating.

    Cons -

    • I'm a sheet snob! I like really soft sheets!! These weren't as soft as I like!! But they weren't bad, just average!!
    • Room was tiny and much smaller than it appeared to be from the picture on the website. Definitely false advertising that was accomplished with a wide-angle camera lens. Bathroom was exceptionally small. Shower was shockingly tiny and narrow.
    • I did not have consistent hot water in bath. mostly cool. one shower I took was actually hot.,

The history of the inn. Coolidge actually used this inn as a summer White House. The boating on the lake, the tennis courts, the sitting room, the outstanding meal.

Amazing, kind, and flexible staff. We had weather related issues and they assisted us in making it work well- the cookies, hot chocolate, and the scones with breakfast were all nice extras.

A beautiful , well maintained property in a peaceful location. The onsite restaurant was excellent for both breakfast & dinner. Would stay again.

I love our stay at Echo Lake. The location was absolutely beautiful and the the property itself was gorgeous as well. The staff was very helpful and courteous. L

I wish our bathroom was a bit bigger. It was smaller than a cruise ship bathroom but overall the stay was quite pleasant

Breakfast was great, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet - not much going on. But, we spent our days elsewhere so didn't need to be entertained at the Inn.

We were there the last few days before shutting down for the shoulder season - prepping for winter. Was a little difficult finding staff - they were all pretty busy doing stuff. But wasn't a big deal.

Friendly staff at a historic inn.

Breakfast was only served between 8-9am and we needed to get an earlier start so we didn’t get breakfast and front desk staff didn’t arrive until just as we were leaving.

Very quaint, “ Hallmark Movie “ style Inn. We stayed at the CarriageHouse, which had 2 BR, a separate living room with sleeper sofa , kitchen and 1 bathroom.Dinner and breakfast were freshly prepared and absolutely delicious!

    A little dated

building is almost 200 years old so know what to expect. Owner is great and helpfull, breakfast is excellent and there are free rowing boats, canoos, etc.

    5CharlesPosted on: 8-7-2024

    Great Breakfast

Improvements: The steep stairs should have skid stick pads, there should have coffee cups and spoons, the bathroom door needs to be oiled.

Tom was very welcoming and helpful. Gave good recommendations. The outdoor porch was pleasant, and it was nice to see the birds and hummingbirds. We enjoyed staying in the historic Coolidge room. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot.Kayaks, paddles and life jackets provided for an outing on the lake. It was great!Breakfast both days was very good (we had omelets, the Lily scramble, and pancakes). The dog She Ra was very friendly, and made our stay more enjoyable.Large selection of board games and cards. The sitting room was charming and comfortable.

Would have been nice to have the a/c on in the room when we arrived--room was a bit stuffy. The stairs were a bit challenging for my mother. The location on route 100 was a bit noisy at times.

The staff were very pleasant. The inn is a historic inn which is well maintained. The meals were very good.

Everyone was friendly. This is an honest place, and they take care of their guests.

A bit dated, does add some charm but it could use a refresh.
