Convenience to things
I asked If would receive a refund if I had to leave a day early. They said yes. I asked the question because my father fell one day and I left that night to stay with him. I hope I was refunded for the day I was not there. Who do I contact?

It's a good location for an off-the-freeway spot. At least eight dining choices are within easy walking distance, but half are across a busy car-centric street that is not conducive to pedestrians.

Place sucked. Has weird smell. When I arrived and tried to take a shower, it wouldn¿t drain. Called for help and the guy acted like he didn¿t care. He finally called the maintenance man and he pulled so much hair out of that drain. My room was dirty.
This hotel was cheap and clean. It served our purpose, but I wouldn't call it a "nice" hotel. We just needed a place to sleep. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
It was quiet & the staff was really pleasant.

The house keeping staff is super clean friendly cleanest I've been in.
Hotel rooms need recliners so we can relax before we go to bed!!!
In all the times I have stayed at a Hampton Inn this was terrible. Up until now I could only say nice things about Hampton Inns (Who ever heard of a room with no phone) and that was the second room as the first room had broken shower doors.A DISAPPOINTE

Top Tips
- Choose hotels with direct access to Interstate 65 or U.S. 31 to save 15-30 minutes on transfers to Birmingham-area destinations during non-peak times. This routing helps travelers reach business, sports, or event venues more efficiently.
- Most Alabaster hotels are national midscale or select-service brands. Amenities like breakfast, 24-hour front desk, and pool or fitness access may vary, so confirm inclusions on the property listing to match your needs, especially if traveling with family or requiring business services.
- Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) is 20-30 miles away (25-40 minute drive, traffic dependent). Few local hotels run airport shuttles, so verify availability or plan for rideshare or taxi (US$35-50 typical fare) for reliable transfers.
- Try to arrive outside weekday rush hours, 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM, as drive times to Birmingham or BHM increase by 20-40 minutes during those periods. This planning is especially helpful for early flights, meetings, or time-sensitive activities.
- Complimentary Wi-Fi is common, but speeds may not suit video calls. If you need high upstream speeds for work, request measured Mbps from the property or ask for a ground-floor room closer to the router or office.
- Free onsite parking is standard at most suburban Alabaster hotels. Guests traveling with RVs or large vans should check overnight parking rules and any fees in advance to ensure vehicle policy compliance.
