It was quiet and close enough to the highway for an easy overnight stop.
There isn’t anything I can honestly say I liked about the hotel. It is rated 3.9 it felt more like a 2 star hotel. It was dirty and smelly looked very outdated.

The best thing about this hotel was the customer service. The room was huge. I could've taken the bed home with me, it was so comfortable. Clean and they had Dove products for use.
Nothing. Will not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone.

Ease of location. Breakfast selection.
Very friendly staff and clean room. Quiet location; not a party hotel

The room was super spacious and comfortable, and showed that it definitely lends itself to a stay longer than the one night we stayed there. The breakfast was delicious, but they ran out of waffle mix and did not replace it for breakfast customers.
Large clean rooms
Room we reserved was not available, but staff accommodated us with 2 roll-a-way beds (kids thought this was better than the original plan). Great selection for breakfast, hot shower with good water pressure, Dove bodywash & shampoo dispensers in shower

Top Tips
- Select a downtown hotel for pedestrian-friendly access to venues such as Fifth Third Field or the Huntington Center, typically less than 0.6 miles away (2-10 minutes on foot). Explore the Warehouse District for local dining before an event, or ask hotel staff for live event schedules.
- Avoid nightly downtown hotel parking fees ($15 to $25) by choosing a suburban property near I-75, ideal if you plan daily commutes. Confirm free parking options during booking, since policies can differ between brands.
- Book your hotel 7 to 30 days ahead when visiting during the Mud Hens home season (April to September) or University of Toledo’s major events, as rates often increase during demand spikes at these times. Use loyalty program alerts to monitor last-minute room drops.
- For quick access to the Toledo Museum of Art (about 1 to 1.5 miles west of downtown), stay near Monroe Street. Transit typically takes 5 to 10 minutes by car or rideshare, and most national hotel brands can arrange accessible taxi service if needed—plan ahead, especially for weekends.
- Because scheduled hotel shuttles to Toledo Express Airport (TOL) are limited, confirm availability before booking or arrange for a ride-hail or taxi (typical fare $30 to $40, 20-25 minutes). Request step-free transit in advance if you require accessible transfers.
- Toledo’s municipal tap water is regularly treated and safe to drink. During rare seasonal algal blooms, the city may issue temporary advisories—check hotel notifications or local news at check-in, and request bottled water if you have health sensitivities.
