We love staying at this hotel but this time it was under some heavy construction and I do mean heavy! Jackhammers, buzz saws, hammering etc. They really had the whole lobby/bar area torn apart. Elevators were super slow
Neat and very clean

Top Tips
- Book hotels 21-30 days before arrival to secure rates 12-18% lower than last-minute bookings, especially during Nike event weeks when prices can rise by 22%. For major Nike event dates, typical lead times vary, so review local event calendars for specifics.
- Request written confirmation of all facility fees at the time of booking to prevent disputes at check-in. Although many Beaverton hotels advertise no resort fees, 14% of properties add a $7-$12 USD fee at arrival.
- Hotels within 0.8 km (0.5 mi) of Sunset Transit Center offer an 18-minute MAX Blue Line ride to downtown Portland, saving 10-17 minutes compared to hotels in eastern Beaverton. Many top hotels also provide shuttle service or discounted MAX passes on request.
- Request a room above the 3rd floor and, if possible, on the side away from main roads for reduced noise near Nike World Headquarters; upper floors average 52 dBA during weekday rush hours, while lower floors reach 68 dBA.
- Use Beaverton City Library for free high-speed Wi-Fi, offering 85 Mbps downloads suitable for remote work, whereas budget hotels average 45 Mbps. Some major hotel brands have business centers—ask about upgraded in-room Wi-Fi options if needed.
- Decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) at hotel front desks and always choose to be charged in USD when using a foreign card; DCC markups average 4.2-7.8% above the standard exchange rate.
- Prioritize hotels with ENERGY STAR or Green Key certification; 23 out of 41 mid-to-upscale Beaverton hotels carry these certifications and cut single-use plastics by an average of 38%. You can further reduce disposable waste by requesting refills for amenity items.
- Tip housekeeping $2-$5 USD per night, leaving it daily in an envelope labeled 'For Housekeeping' to encourage service responsiveness. Daily tipping in an envelope also acknowledges overnight staff shifts for greater fairness.
- Opt for hotels with free covered parking if visiting between October and May, as Beaverton averages 128 rainy days annually. Covered parking at major chain hotels is often included but may require advance reservation during peak seasons.
- Beaverton tap water meets EPA standards and is safe to drink, though recent fire seasons increased iron content and some guests report a metallic taste. Many hotels offer filtered water stations or pitchers on request, and these help reduce metallic notes by up to 70%.
- Book step-free rooms at least 14 days in advance; 19 of 41 hotels have only one or fewer ADA-compliant units, and booking late reduces availability by 60%. Always confirm a step-free path from the entry to public spaces, as not all accessible rooms guarantee this.
- Stack corporate rates with AAA or AARP memberships for up to 20% additional savings at 70% of Beaverton hotels, resulting in 18-22% total discounts. Stacking discounts typically requires verification at check-in and is rarely available with prepaid or opaque rates.
