Hampton Inn Morehead

Absolutely nothing !Reported to check in. Was told no water. They could not tell me how long it would be off. I had my 8 yr old grandchild with me. I could not check in without water… you couldn’t use restroom or shower. They refused to credit my card.

Mattresses were horrible. I was sore the next day, so hard and old. Room was way overpriced

The room was nice and the staff was very friendly.

The pool was not in service and I did not know that prior to booking. I was told by a staff member that the pool had been out of service for 3 months.

What I liked best was the cleanliness of the property and the lady at the late night checkin on Saturday was excellent in customer service.i also liked that they already have soap,shower gel,shampoo and conditioner.

That I didn¿t like is the quality of the mattress.It was almost like sleeping on a brick.I also thought the quality of breakfast was not the best.I did however liked the friendliness of the breakfast personal.

Clean and close to the highway. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of hot items to choose from including an egg omelet. Breakfast staff was friendly and asked if we needed anything.

Cleanliness, they take pets, staff is kind and competent.

Just could have used a little more space in the room. Cost was a bit high.

The proximity to my event

I think that the rooms do not smell good and the staff is forced to use an excessive amount of Febreze to cover up the smells in each room . My bed linens had such a strong smell of Febreze , I could hardly use the blankets.

Cleanliness and updated and hotel employee was such an amazing desk clerk.

Beds were too firm

Person working breakfast was very nice and friendly.

The lobby and room smelled terrible. The lobby smelled like bad eggs and the room had a bad musty smell. We had to buy air freshener spray to be able to stand it. We asked for a new room after 1st 1 we checked into was musty, but 2nd rm not better

Room had a musty smell. Bottom of shower door had black mold/grime that was released when the shower stream hit it.

Clean & quiet. Nice pool. Good breakfast with lots of good options. Lots of free parking at several different secured doorways

Door was open to my room when I got there. Commode was NOT attached to the floor. Room was filled with gnats. Gang of males guests made me feel very uncomfortable when walking to my car. Other guests set up their personal grill in a parking lot outsid

Very clean, nice linens, friendly staff.

Hampton has a good breakfast buffet included in the stay.

The pool was closed for "maintenance". What they failed to mention is that according to local family members, it has been closed for many months. "Maintence" is temporary (days, week, etc ,many months long closure sounds more like a lack of funding!

The staff were dressed in sloppy jeans and tshirts and were taking their "smoking" breaks right outside the front door. The hotel was nice overall.

It was alright.

There was no advertisement stating that the pool was out of order, however this was the only reason I booked this specific hotel.

Great location. Lots of good places to eat and shop in an area that is not very populated. Great breakfast.

We did not like having the coffee pot located in the bathroom.

TV reception poor Handicap room was only king size left and on first floor, so it was noisy and didn't like the fact so couldn't leave curtains open without everyone seeing in Pool was closed for maintenance Closet had no light, and I left my sneakers
