Beautiful beach very friendly staff

The staff was friendly and the animation team was great. The location was superb, the beach is 10/10, the pools and the gardens are very well maintained. The room was spacious and clean. There were a lot of chairs around the pool.

The food at the buffet (and the on-location restaurant opened at the time) was simply not good overall. It looked like the food was served on a day and re-served again on the next days. One of us unfortunately got food poisoning early in our stay. Coffee was no good.We went in October, and our experience, compared to the other surprisingly positive reviews, made us wonder if the quality of the food was because this was low season.Sunbeds on the beach were not included and had to be reserved at 27 euros per day (!).I would say this resort is more family-oriented. Half or more of the guests had children with them. Some of the areas marked as 18+ (like the spa/hammam/sauna area) were not enforced; there were children making those areas not-so-relaxing.

We had an amazing stay at Pestana Hotel Porto Santo. The hotel’s territory is perfect for long walks with a stroller — full of beautiful green areas and interesting plants that always caught our newborn’s attention. It’s such a great place for discovering the world together as a family.The staff were very pleasant and attentive, and we especially want to thank the manager, Martha, who helped us organize our visits to the thematic restaurants. Our first evening was a magical experience in the Moroccan restaurant — it felt like traveling to Morocco! The atmosphere, the wall decorations, and especially the food with its unique spices were a true delight.The second restaurant we tried was the Italian one, where we loved the pizza — the chef even let us customize it for our older child. The minestrone and lasagna were also delicious.We really enjoyed the mini discos organized every evening for kids. A special thanks goes to Isabela from the kids club — from the very first minute, she built such a trusting connection with our child that he happily joined all the kids’ activities and absolutely loved her singing and dancing during the disco.The beach is stunning — a long stretch of golden sand and playful waves, perfect for family walks. We were also very happy to find a covered swimming pool, which turned out to be an ideal spot for learning how to swim and practice going underwater.Overall, it was a wonderful family holiday filled with warmth, nature, and great hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

I like every thing in this hotel , its so clean beautiful and the food is wonderful , the staff is so friendly and helpful , the beach is 5 minutes away by foot and its so clean , every thing in the resort is for free including breakfast lunch dinner and sncks and drinks , every thing there is organized , i had the time of my life , and i hope i go there again.

All service functions are managed perfectly!! In all areas: housekeeping, park and pool maintenance, restaurant and food service area, spa center, beach area - you can see the high level of responsibility and desire of the staff.The administration's constant efforts to renovate equipment are evident: for example, air conditioning systems and utility systems.

Important point: include in the procedure for monitoring the readiness of rooms for occupancy a mandatory check of the quality of water drainage in washbasins. If difficulties with water drainage are detected, invite a plumber to clean the drain neck. Wish! During the sequentiaWil renovation of rooms, consider the possibility of replacing mattresses

We especially liked the location of this resort as well as the staff was very friendly and helpful and was doing everything possible to make our stay perfect. The rooms were very clean at all times, the pool is great and the beach as well! we had a great stay, thanks!

Sometimes the restaurant areas looked a bit neglected. this has more to do with the attitude of guests who show a lack of respect for cleanliness. Although the staff did everything they could to keep it clean, it sometimes looked dirty at some places. in the theme restaurants this was better.Also, there are a lot of birds flying around and invading the restaurant terraces. In Madeira they use falcons to keep birds away. could be an idea to use this here as well.

I had a sinus infection and the girl with black hair and wore glasses did a wonderful job in giving me a anti-inflammatory massage and boy was it wonderful. She really knew what she was doing. Obrigada!!!

Very nice beach & sand & ocean, Food in the Madeira Restaurant was good (not included, you need to pay extra)

Not clean, very outdated furnitures, no sun beds on the beach (unless you pay), open buffet mot tasty, Luigi Pizzeria not tasty, mosquitos and bugs everywhere, no moisturizers or hair conditioners in the room, just 1 snack bar and 1 food station (which makes the places very crowded), no fly screens on room windows (impossible to sleep due to mosquitos inside the room). There is a weird time pressure: they assigned us slots for meals. 8.30 for breakfast, 19.00 for dinner - which are not our preference. They were flexible when we went late, but with questioning eyes saying that we were late! This did not make us feel comfortable, why should we wake up that early in our vacation! Beach towel exchange timing also very strict! - only specified slots during the day, again which was not suitable for our vacation timings and we needed to use the same beach towels the whole time

The staff was amazing, specially Ms. Marta Vasconcelos who made us feel very welcomed and gave us some treats ?.The fact that there is a real beach with warm water near by is also a big plus.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic! Services for guests were absolutely at the top level! Staff was willing and helpful. Accomodation, food and other services were excellent! Especially hotel manager was very nice and professional person, who was interested personally in each guest, their personal needs and satisfaction.

Overall everything was really good, but a special mention to the animation team that was spot on, a young team full of activities and lively spirit.Cocktails at the bar were made at the time you requested, and not made in batch way.Confortable rooms

Very friendly staff. Special thanks for Ms Marta who was attentive to us during our visit. Food and drinks were really good. Animation team is perfect. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The fact that the hotel managers allow you to use all services before check-in and after check-out was a pleasant surprise.

The location is idyllic; the design very well thought out.All the services are plentiful and generally well organised. We appreciated especially Marta Vasconcelos ' helpfulness.

The tennis court could be better maintained.We felt the map of facilities could be clearer with a little more explanation.For example, at first, we didn't realise that the meals in the themed restaurants are paid.

Our stay was simply amazing! The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and offered beautiful views. The dining experience was top-notch, with a great variety of delicious meals. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed all the amenities, especially the beach. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a 5-star experience. Special thank you for the manager, Marta. She prepared for us small gifts. It was also very nice that the hotel agreed to include the lait checkout service for us for free.

Luigi restaurant is nice, but the time you are waiting for an order too long and poor veraity of desserts.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean the beach is out of this world the location is phenomenal
