Car cannot park front of lobby , so we park the car back side to take our bags, empty lobby

Comfortable

First time in khazakistan with the whole family. Because the Room we booked was very good but we needsd a bigger One for the 2 kids, we were upgraded by the manager. The reception staff helped a Lot with taxis and getting around town and the vleaning ladies we're very kind. Everything was superb.

As usual; convenient location, large rooms and good wifi. Though the building requires a renovation soon, it is still a comfortable hotel.

The cleaning department staff were polite.

Old hotel with squeaky doors; stained faucets, flimsy pillows, inadequate climate control (too hot), extremely hot bathroom floor, the toiletries are of average quality (not suitable for a 5-star hotel).

Great location, breakfast was good, rooms were not retro as we expected however modern and ok for stay, lights were automated and took some time to understand how they work

we expect to see more retro, old fashion style facility, little-bit overpriced

Kindly staff on reception changed room for another without any additional fee. Everything was perfect. Breakfast, location in centrum of Almaty, spa and swimming pool, comfortable rooms. Host girl in spa was kindly. Curly Sue Suzanne.

Nothing. But I recommended to notify guests (written announcement) to get shower before swimming pool.

The hotel is well located. The rooms are spacious with nice bathrooms and the beds are comfortable. The reception team were always fast and helpful. The airport pickup and check-in experience was speedy which is appreciated when you are tired from travelling.

The breakfast was quite basic and didn't really live up to 5 star hotel quality. The hotel is quite dated in its design which I don't mind so much but worth to be aware of.

The bar is open until late at night; although prices are quite high.

The rooms have no soundproofing, and from the early morning the housekeepers can be heard talking, vacuuming, etc.The pillows are small and not comfortable.

Good hotel but a bit outdated and Soviet style. At first sight you think that you made a wrong choice but despite the appearance it is a comfortable stay. The breakfast was also good. To be honest I*G IC hotel in Almaty is much like Dostyk…

Second time I stayed in perfectly located Dostyk hotel. Both times it was fine, comfortable and tranquil. The hotel kindly has taken in attention my special requests. Thank you!

A bit complicated light managing system in the room.

Location is great and the gym/spa is satisfying. The rooms are spacious though the hotel requires some renovation.

Bathroom is spacious enough and clean with good amenities

Shower facilities are not so worth the money. The floor is wobbly. The water is hot in one sec and cold in the next second.

A very grand soviet-era hotel which gives it charm. Room was large with comfy bed, located centrally in a nice part of the city with lots of restaurants nearby.

Staff were very formal, food was just ok, hot water occasionally went brown!

Everything was first class. Staff were very helpful and professional. The spa and fitness centre were fabulous.
