    Pros +

    • 1. They kept my luggage for 2 days after o checked out.2. They changed my room immediately when I said the room is noisy. 3. The mist sauna/ hamam was the best!! Perfect to heal my aches & pains after Snowboarding. 4. There are African people working here as bell boy & they are very very good, they speak fluent English, they helped me w/ my luggage to put in the taxi on the chilly evening!
    • This is a true 3 star hotel with a superb breakfast and a nice add on with a small gym, hamam and sauna.
    • Not much! Or maybe it is post Soviet era hotel , but not in a good sense!

    Cons -

    • Breakfast is so so. Not many options for vegetarians.
    • Room was a little too small.
    • It’s totally overrated! The walls made out of cardboard, you can hear everything, I mean everything , people speaking on the phone, TV but the most annoying thing was the snoring next door !

Decent breakfast, I also liked the location. I got the room with a mountain view which I really enjoyed. Staff is friendly; they weren't dismissive of my requests (e.g., they replaced TV when I said that the remote was absent).

My biggest concern is soundproofing. When my neighbors moved in, I could literally communicate with them through the wall. This being said, the staff immediately offered me a different room across the hall, and it was much better (although I could still somewhat hear people through the wall).

The breakfast is good and location is exceptional. Very close to financial center of Almaty.

The hospitality is so bad, one of the worst experiences I have had. I have stayed in many hotels never have I had this kinda experience. Your reception staff is horrible. No one knows how to behave with a foreigner. They just keep staring at you and doesn’t respond for anything! But the bell boys Emmanuel’ and lucky are fanstatc. Others are all below the par.

Everything was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfasts were pretty good. We especially enjoyed the beautiful mountain view from our room.

The windows were partially covered with what looked like paint or some other residue, which unfortunately obstructed the beautiful mountain view. It would also be helpful to place a warning sign about the disposable slippers provided — they become extremely slippery on wet floors in the spa area, which can pose a risk of falling.

My first and only 1 star review after 100+ hotels - stay AWAY from this place

They contacted me just a few hours before I arrive, told me that they are overbooked, and transferred me to another hotel and to a terrible room (photos attached). They said they will arrange taxi for transfer, which they didn't. Furthermore, they didn't even bother informing my colleague the hotel was overbooked (he booked and *already paid* via travel agency), he arrived, and they didn't accept him. They were unhelpful like it was his mistake, refused to contact the manager first because she "doesn't work after 1830". He had to go to another hotel after 9 pm. TLDR: Business trip ruined because of this hotel.

Great location and services. Be aware that wifi is not stable. Do not plan to work or use your own data service.

Small hotel in the centre of the town gives you a sense of privacy but also being at the centre of the big city. stuff is very pleasant. Great breakfast and super tasty menu. kitchen 24 hours . Clean rooms, and great service , comfortable mattresses will definitely stay next time.

The hotel staff was great - very friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and breakfast was so delicious with so many options.

The TV channels do not have too many English channels. It would be perfect if they had a smart TV so guests can connect to their apps.

When we reached hotel Checkinn was smooth it didn’t took much time, all the front desk staff was so generous down to earth so helpful, the location of the hotel was really good it’s doesn’t take much time to reach kok tobe it’s near from hotel& green bazar & shambulak ski resort is half n hr only, all the destination is around 15-20 min radius,we got a room with a beautiful view, let me clear I have seen reviews of other people regarding AC was not working,in winter they have set the temperature to hot,if u want Ur room to become cool u have to keep the Window open then ur room will b so cold without blanket we can’t sleep.its a genuine review I stayed for 4 days,

We can hear sound from other room ,and there is no Jet spray in toilet, not only in this hotel all over Kazakhstan it’s same,I would not as I didn’t like breakfast it was really good but limited items were there they have to change the menu for a change other then this things everything was fine

The property was very pretty and so quiet! The breakfast bar was incredible and very delicious. The variety of food was amazing.

The rooms were hard to get comfortable, either very warm or chilly.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The room was huge, with a separate bedroom. We even had 2 bathrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains. Amazing breakfast. I was impressed with all the choices. Nice coffee machine, too.

Room was one flight past the elevator.
