Mildom Hotel

Nice breakfast with many options.Location was great at the centre.

Unfortunately no lift. And from my 3rd level room, didn't get the mountain view.

I like the hotel’s location where it’s near to most of the tourist spots and their breakfast!

Shower sometimes fluctates with cold and hot. Food sometimes is a bit salty

Location the best and value money what to get for,From my experience,Staff good in English and very helpful, breakfast very good, i stay 4days 3 nights was perfect, easy breakfast but all good,Bed room clean, air condition and heater ok, bed sleep so good and comfortable for me, sleep very well, location perfect, can walk to every important attraction, i walk from cable car Kok Tobe or to Mega park shopping center all ok exercise,

None,For me,only my room 24, shower very light drop, hot and cold water very difficult to shower, maybe only this room, but overall just perfect for me, not big deal for shower, ?‍♂️?

the reception staffs are great, friendly and helpful.. especially female staffs.The room is spacious, clean and looks new.this hotel should be rated as 4 stars hotel. only elevator that they dont have.

Excellent location, close to shops and restaurants, facilities were excellent. Breakfast has plenty of options. WIFI speed is also excellent.

The only thing is that, there is no elevator but the Staff helped a lot in carrying our suitcase going up to our room.

Its convenient and accessible to different tourist spots, the breakfast is excellent, everyday house keeping and the staff are very polite and friendly

For its price none, just a more thorough cleaning

Reception Staff was very helpful and accommodating, the restraunt staff with the hotel is also very nice and friendly, location is amazing, located centrally with nice cafes, restraunts and other attractions within walking distance.

Humble staff, location, clean rooms, spacious. Important value for money. The breakfast too was not bad ! Good eateries like McDonald and other food is walkable distance & also to city attractions.Had a balcony too to enjoy the climate based on season & preference!!

Reminder- there is no lift! If you staying second floor ( maximum) need to walk. Luggage they will help to bring up & down.

The place was lovely, breakfast was great, and the staff were kind. Just a few small things to note: the room seemed a bit unprepared when we arrived, and the language barrier caused some misunderstanding with our cleaning request. We also noticed housekeeping entered the room at night, which felt a bit intrusive, and having door tags would’ve made communication much easier. Lastly, the milk/chocolate mix ran out once, so our drinks ended up diluted, but the pastries were amazing.

Just the breakfast

It was dirty, there was even clothes (i don’t know whose) left inside the closet. The room was really small, old and untidy. Some of the reviews in this hotel are false and misleading. I think they meant the other mildom, which is the mildom premium. I think that one’s better. It’s almost the same building, different entrance. Also it’s very noisy, no soundproofing, you can hear the footsteps and people’s voices from outside. Couldn’t sleep. One staff called me at 3am and asked me when will I be checking in when in fact I was already in the room, checked in a day before. I modified my booking in the app, changed the date 1 day ahead but i guess it didn’t reflect in their system so she had to call me at 3am! I was trying to sleep! Another thing, they charge late check-out, I paid half the price of the room for 6pm check out. I asked if i could stay until 8pm but they told me if more than 6 hrs i need to pay full day, I was hoping they would consider extra 2hrs since I didn’t used the 1st night of my stay coz I arrived at the hotel already 4am next day so I was hoping they would give me extended hours. I was only asking for 2hrs more coz my flight was at midnight, but they told i had to pay full if i stay after 6pm. So I paid additional half price, stayed until 6pm instead of 12nn checkout.

I like the location, cleanliness, and the staff in the hotel are all kind and approachable.

I wish they would add more hot foods for breakfast...

There is no elevator, and the hotel had to mention that. Also there was a kitchen smell in the room…

Nothing is great about this hotel .the lady at reception is extremely rude & unhelpful.very basic hotel , didn't allow early check-in .Only " Rick " at reception was a gud guy

Breakfast sucks.Location sucks.It is a Bed&breakfast hotel .not even worth 5$.Moreover , there r 2 hotels exactly closer to each other.They fool ppl by showing different pics online & reality is different .Don't b fooled by this hotel . extremely small rooms , may b 25 yrs old place

Don’t expect more. We booked suite and they call it luxury room too but just a pretty decent room not much. No lift. No mirror in the room only in washroom.We stayed there for 2 days. First day was fine but second day they said due to weather no common breakfast, they will provide breakfast to our room. But the weather was good and sunny still they gave breakfast to our room with minimal options. And on second day we didn’t get hot water in washroom so couldn’t take a bath. And don’t expect rooms as big in the picture. I think they took it in .5 camera.

The only real benefit of this hotel is the location :) It’s right in downtown Almaty, with easy walking access to restaurants and cafes. Everything worthwhile is within 5-15 mins on foot tho. The bed and down-filled pillows were comfortable, and the bedding felt premium, probably a leftover from when the hotel was at its best. Sadly, everything else was disappointing!

The price-value ratio is bad. The hotel itself is old, and my room had several broken facilities. In the morning, there was no hot water, which was extremely inconvenient after arriving from the airport. Breakfast was included in my booking and scheduled for 10:00, but it never arrived and no explanation was given. The lighting throughout the hotel was terrible, with cold blue bulbs that made the room feel sterile, almost like a hospital. Warm lighting would greatly improve the atmosphere.
