Reikartz Sky Almaty

View from our room was amazing! The room was large and very clean. We had dinner on the rooftop and everything was amazing, the view, the staff and the food. We didn't have breakfast on the rooftop as we were being pick up too early but the staff arranged for a breakfast box for us which was very nice.

We had a bit of trouble actually finding the hotel initially - our google maps was telling us it was around the corner

The location is good,near to coffee shops and restaurants.

The lift are very small and always busy.

We had a fantastic stay at Reikartz Sky Almaty. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and clean with a very good shower. The reception staff, especially Alina, were very helpful and polite. They helped us with car hire and also printed off some paperwork. They also speak very good English. Location is excellent in the city centre and because we were on the 13th floor there is hardly any noise so it's nice and quiet. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have only one minor complaint. The breakfast area is really nice, on the 18th floor, with a really good view of the city, but the serving area is too small. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the food or the selection, but it can be a little uncomfortable if two or three people are trying to get coffee, cereal, toast etc. at the same time. Also, breakfast staff are very pleasant but are reactivate as opposed to proactive. Every day we had to ask for one of the following, milk, cutlery, plates, mugs or water for the coffee machine. Sort this out and it'll be 10/10

* Since hotel is located in business building, it is not a traditional hotel with lobby at entrance and etc. You need to get by elevator on upper floor to reach reception and rooms through business building and normally taxi drivers are very confused to find the location, because from outside it is not possible to understand where is the hotel

Disappointing "Hey, you must wait 5-7 minutes during checking-out because we need to send a special guy into your room to check if you ate a cheap chocolate bar and didn't pay for it!". Thank you very much, but if I say that your minibar is kept untouched, then this means it is untouched, there is no need to re-check it while my taxi is waiting. I understand that these overpriced minivodkas and minisnacks are part of your business, but invent something better than delaying me to prove my words.

Well, there were some issues initially but the staff was very helpful and pleasant, so overall I decided to rate it 10. The hotel is very nicely located, much cheaper than the chains and has its charm. View from the restaurant is huge extra bonus.

The reception was on the 17th floor, with only 2 slow elevators with a building full of apartments and businesses. So u have to literally wait for 15 mins to get to the elevator, as u will find a big queue of people waiting in front of u

The entrance of Hotel pathetic and confusing.It can trigger your mind to cancel the reservation. This will also force you to enter the hotel with negative emotions.This can be avoided with good parking facility and good enterance on the ground floor.Some representative of hotel must meet/greet guest at ground floor this can completely change guests views of hotel.No parking facility.
