staff were very welcoming - they made it feel homely. Very convenient to facilities - only short distance to Performing Arts Centre and shops. Very quiet location. Room was very warm and bed was comfortable.

Very quiet location and the room was large with plenty of furniture.

The small bar fridge isn’t very helpful for travellers and would prefer to see a large fridge in the room. Overall, the room fittings were quite old and worn. The carpet was very old, and smelled.

Comfortable and clean accommodation. Easy after hours check-in and great position. Great shower and very comfortable bed.

Location is a little away from the centre of town, which means driving to most venues. There is another venue with a bar and restaurant not far away, though. Staff were very helpful.

Potluck parking, though it didn't impact me as it turned out.

The bathroom fan was very loud and sounded like a machine. The walls were not totally soundproof and we could hear our neighbours a bit.

Staff upgraded us to a two-bedroom suit without asking because we were bringing our toddler, and they thought that would be a better arrangement for us. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a simple but practical kitchen.

The bed was a little worn, so I felt like I was sliding off and had a stiff back in the morning.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful on arrival and departure. The room was clean, and bed was comfortable. Nice quiet location in the evening on a pretty tree-lined street.

Not really something the team can control but there was a bit of noise the following morning given it backs onto industrial business area.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. You could buy some drinks at the reception, what we did. The next day, we were already back on the road, the owner rung us that we paid for to many drinks and they will return the money. Very much appriciated. Regarding the room. Everything was clean, beds are comfy. Location was good.

Close to centre, big and comfortable room and absolutely spotless. And there's a small pool. Not that flash but pretty good on a 40deg day....

Clean and staff very welcoming and helpful with dinner options

Thought it was a tad expensive. Stay was clean and comfortable but paid $130 in Horsham for virtually the same but a much bigger room. And then wanting more money if we wanted to use to spa

Spacious and comfortable motel room in a quiet location. Very welcoming and helpful staff. On-site parking (at our room door!). Excellent proximity to town centre (a lovely walk through pleasant streets and parks), with great cafes around the corner. Will definitely stay again.

Everything was clean, room smelt clean. Bed was comfortable, even the pillows! Shower was the best, hot and excellent water pressure. It was also close to pubs, restaurants and the supermarket. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely woman on reception super helpful and directed us to a great breakfast place. Nice little pool to cool down in 42C heat after a long drive!

It was a bit challenging to find it but no complaints once there.

Location was excellent for our needs. Cute, historical part of town. Motel had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, good amenities. Staff were lovely and helpful.

It was spotlessly clean, quiet and Sandra was so lovely, just amazing customer service all round.

The manager was very friendly and helpful, the room was larger than I expected (the twin beds were in a separate little room), the air conditioning looked old but was excellent, really appreciated it in the 44 degree heat! TV with streaming capability was provided, plenty of tea and coffee as well as cutlery and crockery including bowls, which was handy. Location was excellent.

The Hermitage is run by friendly and efficient owners who were helpful during our 3 night stay. The motel is centrally located and very quiet to sleep in. It is spotlessly clean and presents even better in person than the photos (although they are accurate). We would definitely stay here again if visiting Wangaratta.
