    Pros +

    • Having no people around me that was the best ever experience I had the staff should of been polite more
    • Great site, very well kept with great facilities. The dog exercise field, fully fenced, is a great addition to exercise the dog. Walks direct from the site into Kirkby Lonsdale, which has a great selection of shops, bars, and restaurants that are pretty much all dog friendly and further afield. We ate in KL at the red dragon, which was lovely and at the Pheasant at Casterton, which was restaurant quality. The site is very peaceful and easy to find. There is also a playing field for the kids and a playpark. Will definitely return, no pool, but the river at Devils Bridge is easily accessed for paddling . NOT swimming though as far too dangerous. We stayed in Treetops apartment, which is at the back of the reception building. Bonus of private parking by the apartment.
    • Great property. Good value for money with all the facilities you need and very comfy. Great location for getting into town by foot on a nice walk into the town centre

    Cons -

    • When people to start coming to the pods
    • The Tree Tops “apartment” let it self down in a few ways. It had a teachers break room feel to it. The doors were constructed out of old wood and glass - therefore, it was really drafty, to make up for that though the heating was on 24/7 which made it uncomfortably hot. Feel like maybe replacing the doors and windows would be a much better solution. Sadly every time we wanted a shower the boiler was empty and we had no hot water and had to wait up to an hour for the boiler to refill when we reported this to reception we were met with a “it is, what it is” attitude. We were also disappointed in having to pay extra to bring our dog yet the apartment didn’t have an enclosed space for our dog to use.
    • Sometimes it was quite cold despite the thermostat being on the highest setting

The property is well situated just outside Kirby Lonsdale with a really easy walk to the town centre!

I liked every aspect, very isolated and private and comfortable, everything i needed was there

Sometimes it was quite cold despite the thermostat being on the highest setting

Just a basic glamping pod but it served a purpose.it had what we needed for a couple of days. Toilets were nearby.

For what it was it was okay.

We stayed in Hive 1 house. It was very cozy and clean, all the kitchen equipments we needed were there. Nice fire place just outside the house. Bed was very comfartable and the staff was extremely friendly.

Really comfortable stay with my girlfriend and our dog, great accomodation and location, thanks

    8RachelPosted on: 9-3-2024

Small kitchen area was well equipped. The place was clean and well maintained. Good facilities inside for washing up. Toilets and showers clean and well kept.

If im being picky the mattresses were alittle soft for my preferences but perfectly acceptable.

Lovely site. Walking distance to the lovely Kirkby Lonsdale. Pod has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfy. The gentleman on reception was very nice and gave us lots of good information.

We liked everything, the comfy beds, the lovely little balcony, the location was perfect.

    9AnthonyPosted on: 8-25-2024

Staff were very good, location was perfect, easy walk to Kirkby, no hassle with paking as car left at site.Accommodation was pleasant and comfortable and had all you needed.Shower was lovely with good pressure and bathroom fairly large.

The door into the accommodation could do with obscure glass, while there is a curtain this darkens the room if used during the day. A couple of times people wandered up to look in.While it was generally clean, the bedroom TV remote fell behind the draws, when pulled out, there was several weeks of dust and other items that had fallen behind it.Bathroom shower base needed cleaning around rim where dust collected.

    10DawnPosted on: 7-2-2024

Very clean and in a lovely setting. Warm shower rooms!

Hair dryers and hair straighteners required change which I rarely (and didn’t) have. A notice on the website would have been helpful.
