Have known of this hotel since it was built. Was a member of the gym for many years. The room and facilities were excellent and the staff very helpful. Could not fault it
From arriving and staff helping unload our vehicle and taking bags to the room, giving the children cuddly ducks and activity packs to the staff at the swimming pool being so helpful l. Felt like we were aboard sat in the sun around the outdoor pool.

Our room was directly above the bar and was ridiculously noisy. It was a Friday night, and yes, they had a bar band. Sounded like they the stage was right next to the bar (right under our room). Absurd they would sell a room like that to tourists.

Top Tips
- Book your Shepperton hotel 6 to 8 weeks in advance during Shepperton Studios production periods (March to May or September to October) to avoid 20 to 30% price surges. This can save approximately £50 to £100 per night (about $60 to $120 USD). Confirm the production calendar in advance if your dates are flexible.
- UK hotel rates include a mandatory 20% VAT. Choose breakfast-inclusive rates to manage your total spend—typical add-on cost is £10 to £15 per person (about $15 to $18 USD). Check if breakfast features local items for an authentic experience.
- Select hotels within a 5 to 10 minute walk of Shepperton Station for direct access to London Waterloo in 35 to 45 minutes, as these often offer better rates than those farther out. For added convenience, verify train schedules around your arrival time.
- Request step-free access when booking. About 70% of Shepperton’s 3-4 star hotels provide accessible entry, and advance notice increases your likelihood of confirmation to nearly 100%. If required, also request accessible rooms or bathroom modifications.
- Use major UK bank ATMs such as Barclays in Shepperton to withdraw GBP and avoid extra Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) fees, which add 1.5 to 2.5% to each transaction. Always select 'charge in pounds' at checkout for the best rates.
- Verify Wi-Fi speeds before booking if you depend on reliable internet. Most Shepperton hotels offer 50 to 100 Mbps, enough for streaming or remote work. Rooms further from the A244 road may provide quieter working conditions.
- Shepperton gets rain on 100 to 150 days per year. Many hotels offer complimentary umbrellas or drying racks, potentially saving £5 to £10 (about $6 to $12 USD) on laundry. Pack a compact rain jacket or check with your hotel about in-room drying options.
