- Due to my mobility issues the stairs to the rooms were a bit challenging, but worth the effort! staff helped by bringing breakfast up to room to minimise the amount of times I had to use them.

Beautifully decorated, very warm and welcoming staff. The evening meal and breakfast was delicious.
The staff were polite and very pleasant, due to the extremely bad snow we were the only ones there that night and they couldn't do enough, we had a lovely meal and the breakfast was fabulous
It was very quirky and the food and service was excellent could not fault anything the staff were very friendly and helpful would go back for definite
My husband and I spent new years eve here with our labrador, we were met with amazing hospitality from the moment we arrived and everything was absolutely faultless.Warm friendly attentive staff, brilliant customer service, delicious food with generous portions, great selection of drinks, ambient atmosphere, spacious immaculately clean room with very comfortable extra large king size bed, the list really is endless. This is the most dog friendly stay i've experienced and the attention to detail is fanastic. We had access to the secure beer garden to safely let our dog off lead even though it was closed for the winter months, a basket of dog towels is provided at the back door to clean paws and we were given an extra plate of sausage for our dog when we went down for breakfast. We felt this was great value for money and have already booked our next stay.
Lovely staff. Nice rooms.
Raw veg served with dinner.
Having stayed previously and enjoyed the experience before; again the whole set up ticked all our boxes superb staff, excellently appointed room, on the food front, all of the food was really good but the breakfast was the best in terms of quality we have had, and we have stopped at a lot of hotels and pubs with rooms.
Friendly clean exceptional food
Lovely welcoming place very friendly helpful staff nothing was a problem to them very informative about places to visit Great food comfortable bed what more could you ask for
Breakfast was excellent- there was a good choice of breakfast meals that arrived speedily and hot. Dinner was very good too with good service for both meals.Everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was modern and very clean- lovelyThe village was very pretty and quiet and the church clock chimed on the hour which was lovely.
The room was decoratively a little tired and was quite small. There was too much furniture in a small space and it was difficult to access channels on the TV.
Cosy little place..qaint and relaxing...plenty of farmer talk if your into farming haha..beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and cosy..
Very comfortable, friendly staff, excellent food
A little out of the way but otherwise excellent
Food was excellent Staff were friendly attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Good location and quaint building
The low beams caused my tall husband a bit of an issue
