The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate

Excellent room, staff super welcoming at both chceck in, bar, dinner and breakfast.

Delicious food. Nice drinks. Lovely surroundings. Staff friendly and helpful.

Could have been cleaned better, stains on soft furnishing and flooring in our room.

The location/setting of the hotel is wonderful. The staff and the service you receive is great. The rooms are unique and tastefully decorated to a high standard. The food is exceptional!

Peaceful location, very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful decor throughout.

Room wasn't ready at check-in time, and shower hadn't been cleaned although quickly rectified when reception staff were made aware.

Room very clean and spacious. 2 comfortable chairs. Staff very friendly and helpful.

At breakfast, full cooked meal included, but if you preferred eggs benedict or similar, additional £4 charge.

The decor was amazing, breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Gorgeous room Comfortable bed Lovely stay

Shower outlet over flowed and left dirt in shower tray .Staff tried to charge for late checkout although it had already been paid

Lakeside cabin was great. Lots of storage, nice design and loved the jacuzzi bath and lake view.

Service at the bar was very average - would have like to see more local beer options. Environment was a bit stiff and starchy - lacked a cosy/chill vibe.

Decor is lovely, staff were great. Food was v good

Lots of add on’s for breakfast- extra if you want a cappuccino for example (and it was a bad cappuccino)

The style, and the staff were extremely attentive

Room was small and it was a shame we had a power cut

Just about everything really. Clean, comfy, good size room, lovely bathroom and very beautifully decorated throughout. So many hotels have lovely communal areas and the rooms are plain and boring, well Tempus got the memo, the rooms are gorgeously decorated too. Staff were super, shout out to Ellie and the girls on reception. Waiting staff were very professional too.

If I had to really nit pick, the internet is really slow and the TV was large, but it could always be bigger :) That would be all I could say for my personal preferences.

Restaurant was overly expensive. Room was difficult to heat. Lighting complicated

Beautiful room, gorgeous food, friendly helpful staff

An absolutely gorgeous hotel with beautiful, comfortable rooms and friendly, attentive staff. Food was fantastic, nothing was too much bother and nice little touches to help us celebrate a special birthday. Can't wait to visit again.

Superb

location is very exposed to the wind and the vents on the cabin are a flap so they catch in the wind which lead to a sleepless night. but that want be helped really.

Beautiful location, contemporary design and comfortable furnishings. Bedroom had a comfy bed, air con and underfloor heating. Great bathroom - very swish with a powerful hot shower. The Restaurant was fab and service and food were outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay..

Air con although effective caught my throat and disrupted our sleep.

The room was immaculate. Bathroom, a good size. A good selection of teas and coffees.

Food was on the expensive side for what it is. Access was restricted but not sure why. Grounds were waterlogged and parts difficult to access.

Remote but beautiful location Room well supplied with everything you'd needQuiet and peaceful stayLovely breakfast

Nothing in minibar apart from waterNo phone in room to contact reception

Great for a wedding venue

Cooked Breakfast ingredients were not the best quality but all other aspects were great. The same room as our friends but paid another £14 so not sure how that worked out but Maybe I should shop around in future!
