We love the old Scottish feel of the property next to the fields. The sunrise was sensational.
Our room was very close to another, and the doors were a little noisy. I felt we had to whisper and be overly quiet to not disturb our neighbors.
Nice, clean spacious room...great dinner in dining room
Could have used more electrical outlets...breakfast, although very good, was pricey.
Room location was convenient to parking and restaurant. The breakfast experience was excellent — good service and atmosphere, nice selection and good quality.
Our room was adjacent to another and you could hear normal conversation from the other room. To preserve our privacy my husband and I felt we had to speak little and quite softly to each other which was not comfortable.
really nice location at the end of the penninsula. great pub right across the street. really freindly folks and good breakfast. very quiet.
Room is maybe a little spartan. not huge by any means. older carpet that maybe could use cleaning.
Friendly and helpful staff, good dinner and drink offerings, comfortable bed.
Tile floor in the room felt a bit 'cold', hot water in shower was a bit difficult to figure out (perhaps instructions would be helpful), tiny TV, miscommunication on whether breakfast was included or not (it was not).
Location was great, 10 minute drive or taxi to St Andrews. Staff was outstanding. There was plenty of space in the car park. On-site restaurant and bar was an absolute plus. The dinner service was outstanding!
Decent place to stay near St. Andrews but bathroom was not updated like the room on my previous stay
Asked for an ice bucket and they said we don't give out ice buckets if you are not purchasing their wine. I do this at every hotel I go to for work and have never had an issue. They gave me it reluctantly. Stayed here two years prior and staff were more helpful and friendlier.
The restaurant was good and the service was good.
The heater in the bathroom did not work. The bedroom was cold because that heater did not work well. The Inn turns off the heat periodically at night to save money. The shower was poor. One of our traveling partners had bugs in their room. The Wi-Fi only connects 1 device per email address.
Great little place off the beaten path with a very friendly staff.
Nothing they can do about this, but our room was right on the road and it sounded like the traffice was coming right through our room! We suggest requesting one of the cottage room at the rear.
Comfortable room and bathroom. Dinner at their restaurant was very good. Cute rustic looking inn, great location.
Being out of St Andrew's and the possibility of rural outlook.
There is clear evidence of making things ' student proof', which is unfamiliar!
The food was wonderful and staff very pleasant.
A little far from St Andrews, but we knew that prior to booking. It met our needs.
Spacious room. Very good breakfast. Free upgrade
Dinner more expensive than expected
Good parking
Restaurant is expensive for the quality of food Very remote no shops nearest was about 6 miles away
Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfasts with a huge choice. Room was big and spacious, a great value stay
Room was a little tired but that feels like I'm being a bit picky on what was a very comfortable stay.
Clean,comfortable and good food.
