Delta Hotels Newcastle Gateshead

The room size, the staff and the facilities

Great breakfast, friendly staff & comfortable room

The fact that EV charging is advertised as available on site when it’s not, this caused a lot of problems on my onward journey and this shouldn’t be advertised

room was very clean and tidy. breakfast was excellent good choice even for younger children. bed was very comfortable.

the hotel met expectations.

Everything,,, location is literally less than 10 mins walk to Metrocentre

Everything was perfect apart from a young member of staffs attitude which got dealt with.

Rooms were really big. Staff very friendly. Free leisure facilities. Great location for us for metro centre. Great value for money

Amazing staff, stunning room, great location, nice breakfast, easy to find, great spa and swimming pool, great price (we went Sun - Mon) and a very nice hotel overall.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The location for the Metro Centre is perfect and there was ample free parking. The beds were large and comfortable. No booking needed for breakfast.

The rooms are worn and tired. Around the bath and in the grout, there was black mould. The shower wasn't very powerful and again dated. When we arrived in the room, our sons bed was not set out. When we contacted reception, they stated Booking.com had said the room was only for 2. Thankfully we had the booking confirmation and the bed was made up. The breakfast was okay but lacked a cooked variety for vegetarians, there was scrambled egg, fried egg, hashbrown and beans. Overall we expected more since the price is more than the other two budget friendly hotels very close by.

Brilliant location , staff extremely helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast lots of choice . Facilities were brilliant - pool and gym!

Bathrooms a little dated but still very clean !

Clean nice rooms good loaction

Price of drinks is over priced £10 for a can £5 would be more a fair price

Restaurant and location

Bed too hard for personal preference. Spa nice to have but overcrowded when used

Staff and location and size of room and facilities

Room smelt a bit damp, it wasn't dirty but it needed a refresh, everything was a bit worn and tired. Anti slip in bath was an issue. Towels are very old and worn, clean but old. Only a USB socket next to the bed so had to plug a usbc in at the desk which was annoying.

Clean spacious rooms

Pillows

Great breakfast & location easy to find and access.

Pool filter could be better.

Comfortable room and good leisure facilities.

Restaurant was expensive for the food served.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the facilities were good

Although the room was clean and comfortable, it was quite noisy (paper thin walls, I could overhear the phone conversation of my neighbour clearly!). Also the food served in the restaurant was really poor quality (not the breakfast) - my burger could have been a plastic frisbee!

We love it we visit regularly great location great pool spa facilities lovely staff restaurant overpriced and room service prices but offer great breakfast Good value too

Price of restaurant food

Convient location

Horrible biscuits , no hot choc or fruit tea

Very clean and modern room, good variety of options on the breakfast in the morning. Ideal location for access to Metro centre.

All good, no problems

Room was clean, spacious and well-equipped. Staff were really friendly and helpful - at breakfast and in the bar. A really smart hotel -especially with Christmas decorations still up. We stayed a couple of nights over New Year. Despite the celebrations, the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed using the pool and jacuzzi. All very good. Would stay again.

Nothing really. All good.

Location was great. We stayed for my partners 40th birthday and were surprised by 2 free drink tokens that had been left. Lovely touch.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. Specifically the bath.
