Pros +
- My wife & I stayed 2 nights over a weekend, the hotel is perfectly situated, literally just round the corner from the Baltic Centre & just a short walk over the footbridge over to to where all the action is in the city. Our room was huge, clean with a nice kingsize bed. The area is quiet, the hotel facilities are great & breakfast was spot on, loads to choose from & always topped up. The staff are all great, friendly & helpful, special mention to the lady who worked breakfast on 14th & 15th Feb 2026 (Lee?) she worked like e trojan & was a friendly & outgoing, helpful member of the team - cheers, we'll be back for sure!
- The staff make this place. Everyone was absolutely fabulous. Super friendly, genuine and helpful.
- it was very modern, clean and in a good central location
Cons -
- Poor shower pressure, single beds slide away from wall when you sit up, towels had holes in and no shower gel topped up.
- nothing i was happy with everything

nothing i was happy with everything
No soap. Paid for a double had 2 beds pushed together. Bed was not clean. Had no sleep as walls so thin. Tv didn't work. Had perilously filled in a form check out 11am recieved a text at 7am on our day off asking us to check out.
As above
Excellent location for me. Plenty of parking. Good value for money. Staff were lovely
Beds aren’t the most comfortable but ok for one night.
Good location. Rooms were spacious and clean. Friendly helpful staff.
I liked that the room was very spacious
I didnt like the fact thay there was three of us that had food and unfortunately one meal had a hair in it. Although this was rectified it was quite disappointing
I liked the value for money and the size of the room. The mattress was okay. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
The poorly designed bathroom (floods when you have a shower). The poorly designed ventilation (the person on the floor below was smoking in their room and I had to move rooms because the smell was so bad). The lack of fresh air in the room, if you dont open the window there is no fresh air entering the room and the bathroom mirror glass stays foggy. The pillows were very uncomfortable.
Convenient to where I was working.I felt safe as a single woman.Food was of a good quality and staff very approachable and helpful.
The room decor was a little dated and the tv looked like someone had dropped it so the picture quality was poor.
Gym and excellent staff
Expensive when booked on the day
Easy to get to and parking available
Starting to show a wee bit of wear and tear in places.
Room was ok was spacious the Bed was massive
Pillows we're very uncomfortable, and the TV remote wasn't working it had a screw so couldn't get the bk off it to check batteries.
Great location near city centre. Good bar and food
Location brilliant for The Glasshouse, the Baltic, Millenium bridge and to get to Newcastle.Friendly, helpful staff at the hotel
Spacious bedroom room with settee. Very convenient for visits to the Glass House and the Baltic art centre
Breakfast a bit chaotic because of large coach party but staff did their best to replenish everything
Breakfast was good and room was nice
Parking was expensive and no warning that parking would be charged extra
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great and large choice for breakfast. The evening meals were very good too
The staff where so helpful and friendly. I'm gluten free but breakfast was not problem . My wife uses a wheelchair but that wasn't a problem either
Didn't stay long enough
The room was a good size for what I needed, and the bed was huge. Location wise, it was fine. Close enough to Newcastle city centre, but far enough away to not pay top dollar and also get parking
Bizarrely, the only issue I had was that the room was a bit too warm, even though it was a cold January night that I visited. I did open the window to let in some air, but maybe a fan in the room might have helped
Good
Last couple of times I stayed I booked a double room and ended up with twin rooms. Also there was no bodywash/shampoo in the bathroom.
