Location of the hotel was wonderful, right in the middle of the Epson racecourse ...

My Room was a little bit of a walk from reception for me as I use a stick to walk with but just about manageable and the cooked breakfast on the first morning was a little dry and over cooked..

Location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff. Great pub opposite for a lovely dinner. Breakfast was good.

The only thing we would change is a better option for kids sleeping. Our 13 yr old twin boys were a bit big for the small sofa bed provided. We made it work but a larger sofa bed or two singles/put up beds would have made it more comfortable for them.

Our mattress was very uncomfortable. Could not sleep as we rolled to the middle all the time.

We had our 11 month old baby with us and it was very quiet. No slamming doors waking him up.

The bed was on wheels for some reason. We had to wedge it still with a cushion so we weren't rolling around!

Location was convenient

It was very impersonal and price for a bottle of water was extortionate

It was the perfect location for what we needed, visiting friends nearby.

The breakfast was no frills and okay. Would have liked it freshly hot and replenished. I stuck to toast in the end.

Smaller bed in family room uncomfortable

We had an accessible room on the 1st floor. There is a lift. The room was clean and spacious. The wet room was good. Breakfast was excellent as usual. Lots of choice. We have stayed her a few times as it's convenient for my relatives and also the south coast ferries.

The bed was small and a bit firm for me.There is a long walk from the lift to the accessible rooms.

The first lady on reception was pretty cold, Laura was her name, she gave me my card for room 58, I carried all my stuff to the room, card wouldn't work, carried it all back, they took my card and updated it, went back to my room, card worked, someone else's belongings where in there! I went straight back to reception, another lady took my card and apologised, she was lovely, gave me a free drink, I heard Laura tell her it was her mistake and my room should have been 38, shocking.

Staff very helpful, breakfast good and parking easy

We had a family room and the sofa bed not comfortable, that was the only disappointment with our stay. Never asked to change as late with two children

Everything was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the food was great. The pizza was especially good. I honestly couldn’t fault anything
