Beautiful property, wedding venue is lovely and staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Was very hot everywhere, hot water got to scolding very quickly and even hand to sleep with windows and curtains open to cool down. Good keeping place warm but not that hot.

Nice location. Beautiful surroundings. We know it well as have visited and stayed before. It’s convenient for visiting family in Louth.

The property was warm and inviting. Lovely atmosphere. The staff were extremely helpful and polite . The breakfast was excellent and very enjoyable.

Hotel was fine but quite dated in the rooms , staff were not all pleasant . It met our needs for a function .

Really nice hotel, great food, rooms clean and tidy although it did take 12 minutes for hot water to arrive in the shower - i just made a cup of tea whilst wating in the end, something to consider if you are a 'last minute' person in the morning...

Lovely decor, the food was flavoursome and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming

The property was lovely along with the most comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in.The staff were exceptional including the bar staff.The gentleman working behind the bar Monday evening and yesterday evening 19/1/26, 20/1/26 couldn’t help enough and was really polite to talk to.

The room could do with some TLC.The bath tub was a bit dirty and stained along with the bathroom floor needing to be replaced.

The room was wonderful as it was so quiet and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant each day as, after the first evening eating in, we decided we were so relaxed there that we didnt want to change anything. The quality and variety of the food was exceptional. The experience couldn't have been more perfect. Lovely hotel and restaurant with very kind, helpful staff

Poor menu at dinner. Food unacceptable one evening. Room tea and coffee slide-out tray at shin level, causing my husband to fall over it...

Not easy getting luggage upstairs with narrow corridors but not too bad

Location to the venue we were attending. Easy access.

The cost of the breakfast for what you got. A full English breakfast cost £16 but looked like a child’s portion. One rasher of bacon, one sausage and one poached egg. The breakfast didn’t even fill the plate. Very disappointing.

My room was near the drive, so noise from cars driving on the stones.Heating on and not enough air flow.

We like that the hotel is close to Louth, the staff are lovely and the restaurant is great. We always try to stay here where possible

Our room and hotel in general was a little too warm. We managed to sort the radiators out in our room and cool the room a bit.

The room was lovely but very cold on arrival as there was no heating on in the room.The radiator is also behind the full length curtains so we had to leave these open for hours so that the room heated up before we could shut them up.

For the price we paid we would have expected to have had breakfast for this price.Instead we had to find somewhere to go for breakfast before we travelled home.We had dinner booked in the restaurant for a family 60th on the night of our arrival which was lovely in 3 out of 4 of the meals. Needed more milk in the rooms as only 6 sachets but for two people this meant only three cups could be had so one on arrival for each of us then only 1 of us in the morning. The porter did try and find us more milk and eventually went into the restaurant an came out with a jug of milk for us.

If you look close there are areas that need improvement like tired paint and wall paper, marks on head board. But still lovely
