Clean spacious room with tastfeful cabin esthetic.
The rooms were so cute and loved waking up to see the mountains. The fireplace was a nice touch and flowers were delivered for my birthday and the hotel did a lovely job of accommodating that and including a free drink token with it.

All staff encountered were very friendly and helpful. Nice little restaurant/lobby area. We enjoyed the small hot tub attached to the hotel.
Absolutely nothing I felt bad for the staff that work there there was no management team to handle any of the issues.

I liked that there was enough space for activities, cooking, and washing up with the two bathrooms. The pool was nice but had to make reservations and they were full. Did not get to attend pool sadly.

Quaint rustic Winter Park no frills ski lodge close to both the Winter Park ski resort and town resturants and bars. Lodge built in the 1940's with historical character and feel of a true local skiers pad. Friendly owners who love visit! Highly recommend.
The price was low, but it fit the room. Before you rent a room, read the disclaimer on the website. It is a bare-bones price for a room that matches.
Its a skiers dream room.

The location is so convenient and close to the village and gondola. We also loved the large hot tub with the pool as a cold plunge. The large lobby was a great space to work for me on checkout day while the kids finished the ski day.

Top Tips
- Granby sits at 7,935 feet elevation. Plan 24-48 hours of light activity after arrival to adjust to the altitude and reduce risks of headaches or fatigue before attempting hikes. If you experience severe symptoms, consult a local provider at Middle Park Health, 10 minutes from downtown.
- Secure summer Rocky Mountain National Park lodging 45-90 days in advance, or 90+ days before major winter holiday weekends, to avoid peak rates and sold-out dates. During holidays, rates at chain hotels may rise by 25% or more; compare flexible policies before you book.
- Trail Ridge Road (US-34) between Estes Park and Grand Lake typically closes from mid-October to late May due to snow. Plan alternate routes or schedule visits before or after closure if your Rocky Mountain National Park access depends on this pass.
- From December to March and during storms, Colorado law may require you to use snow chains or drive a vehicle with AWD and winter tires. Rental vehicles equipped for winter are available at Denver International Airport. Confirm winterization before pickup to avoid being stopped by state police.
- Denver International Airport is about a 2-hour drive from Granby. Rent a car or prearrange a shuttle for most direct access, as public transit options are limited; local shuttles may require 48-hour advance booking.
- For direct ski access, select Granby Ranch hotels. Downtown Granby hotels are within 0.5 miles of grocery stores and local dining. Check onsite amenities; some chains provide complimentary storage for ski gear and daily shuttles to the slopes.
- Mobile and data service may be inconsistent outside Granby town, especially at Lake Granby, Arapaho NRA trailheads, and above tree line. Download offline maps and save emergency contacts ahead of time to ensure access. Many area hotels offer free Wi-Fi for map downloads.
- Older motels may have limited accessible rooms or exterior stairs. If step-free or accessible rooms are needed, request at least 48-72 hours ahead and confirm the presence of visual alarms or ground-floor access with the property. Chain hotels more consistently meet ADA standards.
- Complimentary parking is common at most Granby hotels. For multi-day parking during ski or hiking trips, confirm the hotel’s snow-plowing and long-term vehicle policy at booking, as snow accumulation may affect access. Ask if EV charging or covered parking is available.
