Georgian House Hotel

The hotel was amazing! Immaculately clean, with great food and exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel, family feel, cozy, clean, quirky. Love it.

This was a last minute emergency booking but we couldn’t have been happier, the staff were friendly and explained on the phone where we could park, they were will to make us a drink for when we arrived as the bar was closing by the time we found this hotel to stay in. All the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

Lovely place to stay, great rooms & breakfast.

No parking at property but still ok

Quiet position with comfortable rooms. Food has a good selection and the bar is also good. Staff are very helpful and chatty

Nothing to dislike

The room was generously equipped with tea, buscuits, crisps and a minifridge. Very clean. The staff was really friendly. Check-in was easy and fast with staff ready at the door to receive us. The food was exceptional. It's a bit pricey, but worth every cent.

Rooms were lovely, location was ideal though no on-site parking. Food has been consistently excellent and I look forward to staying again

Lack of parking

Faultless. Amazing food. Rooms super comfortable. Lovely friendly staff.I was gutted I had to cut our stay short because I left my medication at home.

What is there not to like about this hotel.

Lovely property in the back streets of Whitehaven, from the minute we walked in everyone and everything was perfect, the room was lovely the bar area and restaurant was also lovely. The staff were like a well oiled military machine wearing their earphones whilst moving around. Nothing was any trouble for them.

The food was good

Location, no parking and was very noisy outside with drunk people shouting in the early hours at weekend

Great staff, good restaurant, excellent service.

Parking is a pay lot, one or two blocks away.

An excellent hotel with a good restaurant right in the centre of town and 5 minutes from the sea.

The bed was very soft and bathroom would have been better with a shower. The room was very expensive.

Staff were brilliant Hotel was clean warm and the food excellent

really friendly staff. excellent facilities. comfortable room and bed. lots of little extras.

Breakfast was fantastic and their service was excellent . everything hot and fresh

Hotel Name should be visible properly

Good breakfast handy for town

No parking , room rather small

The room was beautifully decorated, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was to die for.

Everything about our stay was lovely.

Excellent breakfast.Lovely clean room, free crisps and biscuits in the room, room fridge.Great evening meal.

Maybe have a couple more veggie options on the evening menu.

Central location, and staff were able to give us directions to a good car park. We also ate at the hotel and the food was very good with generous portions.

Would have preferred a solid bathroom door. Ours had a full length clear glass panel. Putting some kind of frosting on it may be an idea to preserve modesty.
