Friendly and attentive staff... Great location for access to whitehaven Town centre and West Cumbria...
Food service was quick both at evening service & breakfast, however, there were limited people in dining at the time.

Great location. Close to the harbor and trailhead for hiking. We walked from Whitehaven to St Bees and then took the train back. The station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We had the family room which was large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The staff were very helpful and polite the accommodation was clean bright and comfortable. There was nothing to pick fault with.
There was nothing to dislike.
OK but dated rooms, very small bed. Breakfast was nice. Plenty of parking.
Overpriced for what it was. Cost £112 but a more realistic price would be £70.
Clean, comfortable bed, good shower, friendly staff.
It was very convenient with excellent parking.
Evening menu was very limited although the food was ok
Comfortable and clean.Tasty breakfastClose to town
Bar and restaurant was perfect, big Christmas was lovely
A little bit dated in the rooms and corridors
Very pleasant and helpful staff , very convenient location . Good bar and food :-)
The rain - but the Chase cant be held accountable
Location is a five minute walk to the town centre, room was clean if a little dated
When I got there I was given the key to a room which hadn’t yet been cleaned, but quickly rectified
Gorgeous, clean building and friendly, welcoming staff

Staff u helpful not friendly Was not allowed a drink at the bar at 11pm as I arrived as said bar closes 11pm no allowances could have easily got me a drink Breakfast was a nightmare staff couldn't manage no tea no coffee no butter took wrong orders 3 of us all our breakfast arrived different times a total shambles No lifts in hotel carrying heavy cases up flights of stairs
Room was comfy
Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces.
Hotel very tired. Hotel needs upgrading. Our room was clean but in need of a refurbishment. Bed mattress very worn. Towel rail in bathroom up full heat and couldn’t be turn down or off so bathroom was like a sauna. The hot water tap on the sink was absolutely scolding hot. No warning to let you know.
Really reasonable for a one night stay, good breakfast .Good to have free patking.
Location, comfortable room, breakfast was nice.
Tea and coffee jugs were not labelled.
