There was nothing to like except near my work placement.

Staff at reception very unprofessional with poor customer services when I spoke to him over the telephone, room clean although carpet wet and smelly, tv dysfunctional. Asked to change room, tv not working on 2nd room. Noisy all nights.What an experience.

Price!Location

This is a basic hotel and priced accordingly. Do not expect five-star luxury for 30 quid a night. If you're trying to impress your other half, do not stay here. If you just need a bed and a shower, go for it

The shower was leaking all night and it took 30 minutes to get to a semi warm temperature , the bed was dirty and the mattress was very old and warn , it was loud and was kept up all night with banging, shouting and screaming. There was a bag over the smoke alarm and the door lock was not secure enough, the window lock was also broken . I would definitely get a refund if I could

The room was filthy, the corridors stunk of cannibis, there was black stuff in the shower that we kept washing away and it kept appearing even though we washed it away, to the point I didn't even use the shower. The room smelt grim. Lights didn't work. Ate our takeaway in the dark. Was just awful.

Appalling

cockroaches in the room. Awaiting full refund as had to source another hotel for our engineer. There wasn't just one cockroach but lots all over room and bathroom. Pictures sent to hotel confirming this.

The lady staff was lovely

The rest of the staff was miserable and treated us like scum because we complained about no hot water or heating, kettle or t.v in my room couldn't have a bath or shower the hole time we was there.

Never again

The noise all night. Music. Banging doors non stop. Next door selling crack constant knocking all night on her door. Was hard to sleep

Everything about this place is rubbish, smells of cigarettes, no heating, dirty environment, windows broken, noisy plus noise coming outside from cars absolutely running please please don't go there...hostel for asylum seekers

Dirty room dirty pillows, toilet not clean, cha fed room mattress was flat and springs were just sticking in me

Easy location

Room was dirty and grubby taps in bathroom hadn’t been wiped, grass down the sink and bath plug, plug sockets were rotten, bed had hairs in, very run down, no hot water, fire alarms weren’t working properly, floor boards were mega creaky, doors slammed shut.

TV was over the bed, so it was nice to cuddle up and watch TV together. Bed was comfy. Bed sheets are clean. Free parking. Staff were nice. It's a very large building, it has a lot of potential. Stayed here because it was only 40mins drive away from Alton towers.

The window didn't shut properly so it was a bit chilly and drafty. No hot water at all. Turn the tap for the hot water and it dribbled out cold water. The floor in the bathroom was dirty with someone else's plastic shaver head and dirty plaster. There were a few bugs on the bathroom wall, I'm thinking that's just because the window didn't shut tight and not an infestation. Cobwebs in corner of the room. And the skirting boards were filthy and in need of a good scrub. None of the doors in the building are slow close so they just slam shut. So every time someone walked down the hall there were doors slamming behind them. If it wasn't for no hot water, a cleaner bathroom, slower closing doors, and a window that could close properly. It would have been fine.
