    Pros +

    • It was much nicer than expected given the location, it was very spacious
    • Nice modern hotel and lovely rooms, very clean.
    • I liked how spacious and clean the room was. The room was cleaned every single day. The hotel itself was busy but it was very peaceful at night.

    Cons -

    • The housekeeping woke us up at 9am, banging on the door repeatedly until one of us eventually got up and opened, we didn’t need to check out till 11 it was unnecessary
    • The night we stayed there was a massive kids sports function on so the hotel was very busy. Breakfast was very expensive at £15 per head but not much healthy options to choose from. Parking was expensive at £9 and you had to park over the busy road in a car park across the street which was hard to get to.
    • Noisy at night, bedroom doors are so heavy they slam shut, from 9.30 until 11.30 the noise was awfull.Room service didn’t answer phone, so I gave up on 3rd attempt Would have liked a chair for my desk as I was travelling for work

Great location in the centre , near the train station and shopping centre.

    Car park is expensive.

I thought the reception, corridors and room were very good. The room was a good size.

The breakfast was bad. The bacon, looked and tasted odd, the tomatoes looked tinned, anyway they were not fresh and cut in half and the scrambled egg was stuck together and more like an omelette.

Rooms were lovely, sheets really soft & beds comfy. Good sound proofing & warm. Nice Crabtree & Evelyn products in the bathroom too. Modern. All slept well. Overall good.

Breakfast was average; no cutlery brought to the table, some of the food over cooked, found half an egg shell in my fried egg, beans cold. Good selection otherwise & kids loved waffle maker.

Everything close to theatre friendly staff. Clean an tidy. Felt very safe with the secure doors on our floor.

    My pillows that’s all.

Inviting reception with lovely staff. This included the cleaning staff and servers in the restaurant. The room was a perfect size for me and my daughter. It was clean and tidy with the right temperature available heating wise. The bed was big and comfortable too.

The room didn't have provisions e.g. herbal tea or hot chocolate as options for people who don't drink coffee or normal tea. Some water in the fridge would have also been good and some light sandwiches available in the shop.

Very comfortable room, nice staff on check-in.

Mediocre breakfast. Undrinkable coffee, bacon full of phosphates (while stuff oozing out), flaccid mushrooms, nasty croissants. Hash browns were good.

Fantastic quality. Very clean room. Great bar and restaurant. Readily available elevators to rooms.

Whilst check in staff member was friendly and helpful (which is the most important thing) I just felt that this particular member should address his attire. Wearing a suit and shirt with no neck tie looks scruffy and unprofessional. A don't care attitude to personal appearance suggests it maybe an example of what to expect from the hotel. Fortunately this wasn't reflected but First Impressions Count. Front of house is very important. Should we visit again I would hope to see that has been addressed.

    Central location, friendly staff.

You need to change the pillows! They go as flat as a pancake once you lay on them. Couldn't get to use the fridge as it didn't work. No lighting by a mirror to apply makeup only standing in the bathroom.

Family room/s were really good - spacious and interconnecting - some of the best we have stayed in. Well located. Car park charge reasonable. Staff friendly and efficient.

The breakfast offering was much worse than Leonardo’s, which charges less - only 3 types of cereal and pastries were not fresh on Sunday sadly

    6AnitaPosted on: 2-14-2026

    Comfortable and clean.

The food. The restaurant served cold food. I had to send my dinner back.

    9SallyPosted on: 2-11-2026

Great room - very spacious and lovely decor

Staff in the restaurant in the evening were surly and unobliging. We were a big party but were happy to wait. Until the manager lady came (who was great), we were made to feel like a problem.Reception staff were lovely.

    7VioletaPosted on: 2-10-2026

    Great breakfast and dinning.

The pillows were sinking and I woke up with neck pain. Please change them, not nice waking up uncomfortable to breakfast.

Food in the restaurant was ok but nothing special

    5DeborahPosted on: 2-2-2026

Staff very helpful and rooms superb

The TV wasn't working properly, signal bad and channels all over the place. Noisey from early morning with doors banging .

    7NatashaPosted on: 2-1-2026

Staff super friendly. Great breakfast, good location.

Not that I didn’t like because the hotel is lush. I paid for 4, me and 3 children, so 4 towels and bedding for the sofa bed would have been great, without having to ask for it.
