The bed was bad. The bedroom carpet is not clean. The restaurant is not operational.

It was warm. The lights worked. There was free parking

Tired accommodation.the wifi didnt work.at around 10pm, shouting outside my door, and then the door opened and demanding questions about my alleged smoking in my room.I told the person to get out and he left quickly .In the morning I complained about the breaking to my room and received an apology.Apparently the fire detection incorrectly indicated that there was smoking in my room, in fact it was the person next door who had or was smoking.I do not recommend this hotel at all and won't be back . be back, not receommendin

Comfy bed, nice and spacious unlike most hotels you go to. More of a homely feel.

Other people in the hotel smoking weed so couldn’t have windows open. Other people in the hotel being extremely loud all night. In the morning about 7am had a car on the car go up and down honking the horn waking me up and not able to go back to sleep.

Some of the staff very nice but the room not so clean and the connection from the booking whit the hotel nothing no bady no about reservation about pay extra for checking in early or checking out late nothing

Very out dated and run down looked like the door had been kicked in a few times ,didn’t feel a secure safe place ,seems like people are living in other rooms pushchairs and kids toys outside and strong smell of something cooking eg curry .. won’t be coming again …

Location it was close to Alton Towers

Mold in the bathroom, smelt damp looked run down, place was dirty. Electric sockets were either broke or not working. Even with the lights on it looked dark.

Convenient to get to

Not so clean, bits of sand between sheets, sink area needs decorating, shower curtain needs a wash.

It was convenient and warm. I previously stayed at holidayinn and although holidayinn is a nicer cleaner place to stay it isn’t as warm therefore I would opt Tollgate Hotel over Holidayinn over the winter or colder months. No contest.Tollgate Hotel is very USA motel vibes. I’d imagine the ideal place for an extramarital affair or hook up due to its appearance of discretion and privacy and comfort.There is a pool I believe which I didn’t have the time to try out. Next timeI’d stay here again

I would have like a shower option. But the bath sufficed.

Bad

It definitely needs a refurbishment, the tv was broken with the satellite being what looks like cut, there was no heating, 2 plug in heater later we managed some kind on heat. It was very noisy. The beds where uncomfortable.

Nothing and I need my refund.

No heating and TV the room was very cold and bed was bad as well. The guy at the reception tried.

Shower didnt work. Unable to heat the room.

Cost; if you’re on a budget but still want somewhere clean and comfortable. Staff were nice, friendly and helpful.

Nothing comes to mind. It’s not the Ritz or Adlon but this is place is superb value for money and very pleasant.

My bathroom basin was blocked.

Location was fine. Staff are great. Plenty of parking.

Room smelt of stale cigarettes. Tiny tiny TV.Shower is quite poor.

Broken and dirty/ stained furniture stained carpets, electrical plugs buzzed and kept me awake, cars headlights lit up my room when they parked up, TV remote didn't work.Decor very tired and dated.

I thank you for the night I would really recommend this place it really felt at home we even paid extra 10 pounds to stay till 13h00..Our checking out time was 10h00 but we want to stay for abit longer..
