Premiere Classe Bethune

We couldn't access the 2 rooms that we had booked. We tried multiple times with the auto check in and it was not working. Worse, we then rang the 'emergency number' and could not get through to anyone. It was late, cold and we had kids with us. In the end, we booked 2 more rooms, assuming we could sort it out in the morning. We explained in the morning but were told our rooms (for which they had not issued keys) were non-refundable and they could not refund us for the 2 new rooms booked either (same name, clearly same people). Rip off!

Good location. Good value for money

Room was cold and couldn’t get any warmth from the air con unit or heaters. It was a bit tired.

I like the big standard Premier Classe offering if it all in good condition & working as was this PC. Staff friendly & helpful. Good breakfast & early 06.30am

All good, no complaints

Poor accommodation, rooms shabby and tiny. Only good thing is parking.

Top two of worst places I ever been

No towels.This should be clearly stated with capital letters. I wouldn't book this place if I knowed... Noise early morning people dragging wheeled suitcaseses down the stairs sounded like whole London underground was moving from top floors . Everything else could be compromised by the price.

The two rooms we stayed in were next to each other. This is really important for a family with 3 or more young children.

Some maintenance work needed for things that were damaged or worn out. Huge puddle near stairs to car park. I was carrying my sleeping daughter, so did not see it in time. Had to drive for the next two hours with wet feet.

Cheap and convenient for stopover before the channel crossing

Cigarette burns on bed set and around sink. Some lights not working. Felt dingy compared to other premiere classe we have stayed in before

Staff friendly, accommodating and helpful

Not clean. Smelt like smoke in the room. Mold around the doors and walls. Burn holes in the bedding

It was cheap and close to motorway and there was a good boulangerie very close by.

One of the rooms we booked absolutely stank of tobacco. It was so strong, my clothes smelt smoky later the next day.There were also several dirty stains on one of the bed sheets. None of us slept well as the beds were very hard.

Very friendly and helpful staff - sorted out extra towels and pillows when we didn't have enough. A great location for a stop off on the way to Paris.

Our bed sheets were filthy - covered in hair, stains, and generally dirty. The showers are tiny and difficult to use. Also kept awake all night by cars revving engines outside.

Right location for through travel and very cheap.

Because it’s cheap it’s not very comfortable but I want to stress it is comfortable enough for our purposes.

Location. Easy check in. Easy to go. Bed sheets seemed clean.

All 3 rooms stank of cigarette smoke despite being non smoking. Really badly. Shower too small to wash properly and also really badly cigarette smoke smell.

Cheap and cheerful hotel by the motorway. Easy to stop. Staff was super friendly.

Room a bit dated, but that was expected for the price. Quite noisy, especially with late check ins and little noise insulation. Worst of all, some moron was revving his car engine outside at 1 AM for about 15 min on and off.

When we tried to check in , our booking was not found. We located a staff member (11.30 at night) They were amazing and all sorted. One room was lovely and warm the other was very cold. Yes we would stay again, great location, staff were very helpful. Found the heating in the morning, late and very tired on arrival and just went to bed

Heating in one room was not on

Very very basic and smelt of stale cigarettes in room. Breakfast was basic - small area. No orange juice and poor coffee

It's a very functional place to stay, very close to the motorway, clean and tidy and very compact and priced accordingly. Easy access and lots of parking for a late arrival and early get away- I was happy enough just not excited!

The heater was not fixed to the wall on one side and it was a bit too easy to hear the guests in the next door room

It was conveniently located after a long trip from the slopes and less than an hour from coquettes

The bedding had a stale smoke smell and the rooms didn’t feel very secure

Staff were great and the breakfast was good

The room was cramped and pillow was uncomfortable
