    • Loved everything about this place.. the view from the room was spectacular the place was clean and accommodating with a kitchen, the staff were friendly and the room was super nice

    Cons -

    • The shower was really dirty a lot of moistures and it was smelling bad.
    • The pictures for the room we selected when booking were completely unlike the room we checked in to. There are no flowers, no crisp white sheets, just a tiny room with a scratched up headboard. Hottub was not working at property.
    • Toilet was awkwardly placed but thats it

The bed was comfortable and check in was easy. The hotel was easy to locate. Coffee and croissants were appreciated in the morning.

We upgraded our room for a private terrace with mountain and garden views. The terrace needs to be better defined as private. We had other guests sitting at the table chatting and having coffee early the first morning. Others chose to sit there as we headed out the next day. The view of the mountains is better from the general sitting area or from an upper, not ground floor room. Though we appreciated the air conditioning, it is a portable unit requiring the discharge hose to be out the window to cool the room. With other guests within a couple feet of our room, we felt uncomfortable. A few changes regarding these concerns would definitely elevate our review to 5 stars.

I really liked this atmospheric hotel. The view from the terrace to the hills is beautiful, the air is fresh. Special thanks for the fact that breakfast was organized, although there was no such option when booking. Quiet peaceful place. The room was clean. The guests were calm, so I managed to get enough sleep, although the audibility in the room was good). The city center is within walking distance. The receptionists were very nice and responsive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. If I'm in Siena again, I'll definitely stay here.

Overall a very good stay, good location, nice easy walk into town. Bus stop not far from accommodation. Luca was very kind and helped me with getting to agriturisimo a short drive away as taxi was difficult to get. Staff were all lovely. Grazie!

nice location, near to the city center

Weak wi-fi, no air con in our room

This is a charming, small hotel (it has only about 20 rooms), set just outside the city gate of Siena on a hillside with beautiful views across the surrounding valleys. The staff could not have been more helpful, with lots of advice on what to visit and where to eat in Siena. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Piazza del Campo, which forms the central hub of the lovely old town.

Our room was on the top (second) floor with no lift - but the staircase was very wide and so getting suitcases up to the room was not a problem.

The Location and the surrounding placement is fantastic. Also close to center

The economy room was too small without closet for clothes.

Lovely, clean spacious apartment. Plenty of car parking space. Gorgeous views of Tuscan hills and sunsets. Very helpful

Location is perfect. Staff hospitality is great!

Everything was clean except the shower cabin. The electricity was very weak and there was no hot water in the room.

    Clean and very helpful staff

Booking promised a different unit than we got. Lesser amenities

The view from the room and the terrace was amazing! Also the receptionists where very friendly, helped with calling taxies, gave us many sightseeing-tipps and made sure everything was good.

In the morning (~8:30) it started to get very loud from other guests and the cleaning stuff. Also the hotel was hard to reach by Bus.

    8NicholasPosted on: 8-20-2023

Everything went well except that the air conditioner was broken and they did not tell us in advance. Being that the weather has been very hot the night was uncomfortable and restless. They should have told us in advance about the air conditioning problem.

    Air conditioning.

Despite conformation from Booking and the hotel, the hotel gave the room to someone else. An email presented one explanation blaming technical error in the room. Upon arrival the receptionist another, blaming booking.com and knew nothing about technical errors... The truth is that they use this hotel to take bookings for another hotel they have close by. How stupid is that? Do they believe we are morons? And to your comment: No - we did not stay there. Because despite you confirming the reservation by email - an email I still have - when we came you had given the room to someone else! But this was NOT booking.com's fault. That was the point!

Style of the building was lovely. Rooms clean and comfortable Location to Sienna was perfect

    No breakfast or bar facilities

    8AnaPosted on: 7-24-2023

The staff was very nice and tried to solve any problem we had. Also, they gave us great tips (thank you, Lorenzo). View from the hotel is incredible and they are walking distance from the city centre.

Beautiful view from the room and very friendly staff at the reception

No AC, no toilet paper refill, no new towels - they just kept taking them away (we stayed for a week and ended up sharing a towel for most of the stay), weak/no WiFi in room, clogged sink, stained day blanket, poor restaurant recommendation, no breakfast, no high quality drinking water tap
