Pros +
- We spent one night at Garden Hotel, took the bus to Siena city center, and walked back to the hotel. After checking in we had a delightful diner at the hotel, the service was impeccable. I would recommend this hotel.
- Swimming pool and garden
- Staff was nice
Cons -
- A bus schedule to include route numbers to and from Siena city center.
- Staff. People are not rude, but at the boarder: front desk, breakfast, pool staff. The most positive experience was with housekeeping which was great
- This is *not* a 4* hotel. Beds were very hard, even for Europe standards. Would have been more comfortable sleeping on wood. Walls very thin - could hear neighbors using bathrooms on both sides. Heard TV's too. Quality similar to an old La Quinta. Not 4*

The location and scenery were beautiful.
Air conditioning didn?t really work
Room/bed
Great view, wonderful staff
Beautiful property ! nice staff and great, hot breakfast !! Very clean room. Cocktails were fabulous
my door did not latch nor did it lock. staff didn’t seem concerned and only said, “that’s awkward”
Restaurant staff, friendly and professional.
Female at the reception on 17Sept afternoon. Very rude and cold.
Loved the design, the restaurant, the grounds
The pillows were really big but we were able to get smaller ones. The hot water was out one morning.
Perfect hotel, great room and they welcomed us very well!
It’s a 20-30 minutes walk away from the center and restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel very expensive
It was absolutely beautiful. Very clean, great abs friendly staff. Love the pool and patio overlooking Siena. Favourite place of our stay in Tuscany.
Views/gardens
No a/c as advertised. Hard pillows. Staff at dinner very poor service, not helpful. Not sure food cooked adequately, sick next day. Noisy water pipes in rooms.
Breakfast was very nice, great variety for an Italian breakfast.
Room was quite small. And the terrace view…
Service minded staff
Cold room but I got a electric heater from friendly staff to solve the problem
Super clean, the restaurant was very good. And we could walk to the bus stop to get to the square
Cleanliness and the quality of food and drinks
Our hostess was beyond helpful. She picked us up and delivered us to the train station. Also she set us up for our next stay in Torino at a beautiful hotel in the center of town. She went way beyond our expectations. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Umbria.
Bring some paper towels. That’s all!
Breakfast, quiet, staff and beds were great.
Siena is an old city with old buildings, but the interior is tired looking, grounds are large and have potential but not well kept. The smell of swer in the bathroom is felt in the hotel room.
Location to bus into the city was good.
It’s very tired looking. Gardens very unkempt. The bed was rock hard.
The hotel is set on a beautiful, large acreage. The room was a good size and extremely comfortable. The bedding was very comfortable as well. Breakfast was fabulous - great variety and service. The pool was a great size and had plenty of sun chairs for guests. Parking is free and a great help for those who have cars. Location was out of town so quiet and ambient.
Bathroom shower kept flooding with water and temperature was not consistent. The gardens need some upkeep. Sound from corridors was a bit noisy at times. Tennis court was unusable.
