- We booked a stay with you at the last minute and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We wish we had more time to stay with you and if we are back in Italy we will definitely be back.

- This is my favorite hotel in Italy and it gets better and better. We stayed in the newly created executive suite with 2 bathrooms and very chic design touches. The public spaces deserve a special mention as they are top-notch design and comfort. The restaurant is fantastic and so is breakfast. But it is the stuff that makes all the differences - they really care and cater to you, and made the celebration of New Year so special!
Cons -
- Maybe cocktails can be a bit less expensive ?, but they are also unforgettable

After a very difficult year, I wanted to find a special place in Italy to spoil me and my partner. I always look for places that will have something a bit special that can elevate our stay from something nice to something extraordinary and Hotel Certosa di Maggiano was not only extraordinary, it was extra extraordinary. The place is stunning, from every angle, totally unique and slightly quirky. The breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is divine - elegant, very good food and waiters - without feeling overly fussy. The recommendations for things to do in the area brought us to places we would never have found on our own and took us off the tourist trail - including excellent, local restaurants. But like every experience - the thing that made the place truly magic were the people, the staff, they really care about your experience and the hospitality is so genuine and kind. 8 days we will always remember. Highly, highly recommended.
Gorgeously designed space, with many areas outside of your room that are comfortable to relax and hang out in. Spent lots of time in the game room. Comfortable rooms and amazing service throughout - so warm and kind, it truly felt like a homestay.

The complete experience at Certosa was amazing. The staff (in particular Lorenzo and Paola) was warm, welcoming and very helpful. There are many lovely places inside and outside to relax, drink and read. The grounds are beautiful. We wished we could stay longer.
If only the pool was open!
Lovely hotel, clean with large room!Great breakfast, food in the restaurant was super good, wine list great and surroundings very nice
The facilities were beautiful. We especially enjoyed playing cards in the game room each night with a glass of wine, sitting by the fire enjoying a cocktail before dinner, and laying out and relaxing on the daybeds after a day in Siena. The staff was also AMAZING and extremely attentive, especially Michelle suggested an amazing winery and cheese farm for us to visit out in the countryside. The location is also PERFECT. Super close to Siena, which makes it perfect to head in for a day trip or even for dinner one night. One highlight of our final night was the live jazz music at the hotel, which truly was the perfect finishing touch to an already wonderful stay.
Beautiful property - very quaint, a monastery converted to a luxury hotel. Verdant grounds, nice rooms and fantastic service!
This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in recent memory. Amazing ambiance. All the various corners and rooms of the hotel had curated books and objects in it, which was really fun to wander through. Felt very peaceful and romantic overall. Location was also great - very close to Siena and well located for other drives. Great selection at breakfast. Room was huge and quiet, great for sleeping. Service was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Hope to return ?
Nothing. If I had to nitpick, having the pool heated would have been amazing!
La Certosa has a divine cocktail of ambiance, atmosphere, history along with wonderful staff, culinary, and peace.
All of the above as well as very personalized service, cleanness, and contemporary technologies.
Amazing hotel and historic building (built in 13th century). It used to be a monastery and was converted into a hotel. I
We enjoyed our stay at this property immensely. Our suite was spacious, beds were very comfortable and the location is peaceful and quiet. The restuarant, quality of the food and service, the bar, swimming pool, the setting and ambiance were excellent.
We had a very wonderful stay! We were traveling for our pre-wedding pictures and luckily got the permission to take some photos in the hotel. The garden, the church, the room, everything looks amazing. The staff were super friendly and even made some sandwiches when we went back late and the kitchen was already closed. Would love to come back in the future!
The staff is just absolutely amazing, the servers are fantastic and very friendly. So is Michelle, we did a photoshoot at the hotel, and she helped us organize everything. We will definitely come back and we most certainly would recommend you to spend at least a night at this hotel.
The views, the staff, the breakfasts…all were wonderful.
Facility could use a few fresh decks of playing cards.
Beautiful, large property with many downstairs common area rooms for relaxing. There is also a large outdoor groups that is upkept beautifully and gives plenty of options for morning strolls, cocktails, and conversation. The staff is exceptional and very very thoughtful. The rooms are old-school but comfortable and give a feeling of authenticity staying inside a historic charter house.
They have a restaurant on the property and the food is good but the menu is quite complicated, there aren’t many simple and easy to eat dishes. Because it is about 10mins outside of the city if you need food at night you have to use the restaurant. I wish they had a simpler lunch or late-night menu with basic soup, pasta, salad etc.
An amazing experience and the best part of our trip to Tuscany. Special and warm thanks to Michelle at concierge, who was very kind and knowledgeable of the area and to all the front desk team. Breakfast was amazing. Our suite was amazing as well.
The only kinda letdown was the food at the restaurant where we had dinner over one evening.
The staff were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good. Good breakfast, a lot of choices. The only thing missing was a spa, hopefully they will do it in the future.
Hotel Certosa di Maggiano was so beautiful and well appointed. The staff was friendly and kind
Nothing! It was perfect.
