Hotel Moderno

People were great, helpful, always courteous. Room was spotless, a bit worn. Location is perfect, a few steps from an escalator that goes to the heart of the old city.

Small repairs would be good.

The room was really comfortable and very quiet. The staff is really friendly and they gave me a cup of coffee before breakfast time (7.20). Thank You for everything.

Lovely tourist hotel with a great location just outside the walls of old town Siena. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was satisfactory. Breakfast was terrific, with a wide assortment to choose from. Will stay again during my next visit.

Property is well situated within easy reach of all the main attraction. There are escalator bang opposite the hotel which takes you up 5 stairs of flight, so save you a good walk.Property’s decor feels a bit old style, but the room was comfortable and the staff was excellent.There is paid parking available opposite to the property, website says parking available it does not specify that it is ten euro’s paid parking

Old style decor, but everyone’s taste can be different

Location is great, very easy to reach old center (15 min walk, electric stairs working 24/7). Parking in garage was working very good (15 eur/day) despite previous doubts. Breakfast was just optimal for starting day. All staff was kind.

On beginning it seemed heating is not working, on the end somehow we've succeeded by ourself in making air conditioner to work (staff assistance was not really helpful). Without heating we would be really cold. Hotel is basic but since it is old house thin walls (you can really hear everything from other rooms through them), really small room and basic bathroom are understandable.

The hotel is closer to the city enter than we thought because of the help of the escalators and staff is very friendly, helping us parking.

The breakfast was very good!

The hotel is older, and it could use some updated bedspread and furniture. We spent most of our time sightseeing, so we weren’t in the room except for sleep. Loved the art!

Access to a parking space and proximity to the escalator taking you up to the city centre was very convenient.

Our room had a barred window onto a flat roof that was only inches below the window. The roof was used by residents of surrounding flats.Young man exercising etc. This meant keeping curtains closed all of the time when the room was dismal enough. The overall appearance and atmosphere of this hotel was quite depressing.If you have an acceptable option I would advise taking that instead.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the escalators that bring * you right into the centre of Siena . Parked the car just outside the hotel , €10 a day. We were there early. Very friendly and helpful front of house man Gabriel , who helped with the parking bags and made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast and we’re able to leave car for an extra hour while we did some more exploring

The hotel is old fashioned but with a lot of charm

Good location right in front of the escalators that take you to the historic center.

There was a large group of young students staying in the hotel that disturbed other guests, including during the night. We couldn't sleep so we complained with reception. They called the teacher responsible for the group but it didn't resolve the situation.
