Pros +
- Beautiful garden overlooking the valley where you can have a glass of wine at sunset.
- Large room, good breakfast, easy access, good internet, good helpful staff
- Beautiful room, great location, helpful staff, excellent value. Perhaps the nicest place we stayed in Italy.
Cons -
- Bed was not comfortable. No temperature control.
- The room was pretty hot, and had to leave the window open with the temperatures in the mid 50's. There are new parking restriction in the city, and the hotel asks that you call ahead if you are driving. We never got that message. The parking is near.
- Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing due to the behavior of the staff, particularly the manager, Francesca, who was rude, unprofessional, and misleading regarding a ZTL (restricted traffic zone) issue. Before arriving in Siena, we messaged the hotel to ask how to register our car for ZTL access, as it was our first visit to the city. The staff clearly replied: “Come to the hotel and we will register your car.”However, upon arrival, we were told we had entered through the wrong gate and would receive a fine. The receptionist then gave us incorrect directions to the parking area, causing unnecessary confusion. No one informed us that there was a 30-minute limit to find parking—something that can lead to an additional fine. The next morning, I spoke in person with Francesca, the manager, who admitted she could not assist with the first fine but promised to resolve the 30-minute issue with the local authorities. Later, after we left the hotel, her tone changed completely in email correspondence. She denied making any such statements and sent very rude and offensive messages, even making an inappropriate remark referencing the USA.I am attaching screenshots of the hotel’s messages as proof. The tone and attitude displayed were unacceptable, disrespectful, and borderline discriminatory toward tourists simply trying to enjoy Siena. The stress and frustration this hotel caused us will not be forgotten. While the location is great, the staff’s behavior ruins the experience.

Good quality building room and breakfast. Sunset viewing on the garden is really special. Quiet street but close to center of town.
Great location with parking available at the hotel. Great patio with beautiful sunsets. Room was clean and the breakfasts were very nice.
The rooms are nice, large and very comfortable. The staff was great, and very accommodating and our room came with Breakfast. In the old city center, which can be a bit tricky to find. The room did come with free parking.

I had a wonderful experience at Palazzo Ravizza! The property is absolutely gorgeous, especially the view from the patio overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The rooms are incredibly spacious and well-decorated, and the hotel is located in a very convenient spot for exploring Siena.

Great location and excellent parking. Breakfast was great; lived the garden. Eighteen foot ceilings were nice!
Location and breakfast were great!
2nd Shift desk clerk is unfriendly. Probably should not be in the hospitality business. A/C would not turn on our second night.
Exceptional garden view. Monica at check in was beyond helpful! View if garden froOur room was special as was view while in garden.Breakfast was delicious, fresh and full of variety. Cappuccino was yummy staff in dining area and at check out was great. Close to so many areas of interest. This is the place to stay in Siena! Love the piano. Heard it was donated by Frick family from Pittsburgh where we live. Decor. Especially art work was so interesting. Highly recommend!
Perfect. No complaints!!
Good location and breakfast
Directions to parking were a little tricky
I loved everything. The staff were professional, friendly and informative. The breakfast was delicious with good variety and in pleasant dining area with lovely view and music. My room had everything I needed and the view was spectacular. The facility had comfortable seating areas and was very well located.
The room was very good and clean. The view from the the room was wonderful and we could see the sunset from there. Amazing experience overall.
Everything was very nice and exceeded our experience. The breakfast was ok.. could be a little better, but it was reasonable.
The view was amazing, plus it was convenient for visiting the main attractions. The hotel is very comfortable with reading and sitting areas, plus a beautiful garden. Breakfast offered a good selection, plus the staff were very welcoming.
It isn’t very close to the train station but taxis are available and the staff are helpful with ordering.
Location was excellent. Parking for our car was excellent. The history of the palazzo was something we enjoyed. The staff was tremendous as was the breakfast buffet. Really enjoyed our stay.
Nice hotel room view, comfortable bed, good breakfast.
Everything was good!
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Nice view from the terrace. Great location from the Piazza del Campo (around 9 minutes walking). And peaceful area. Great facilities as well. It also has an elevator
Nothing. Everything was great.
The rooms were large and the garden view from our window was spectacular.
The location was inside the walls of the historic center but not as close to the duomo or plaza as would have been ideal. The old hotel smelled musty. The night receptionist and bar tender were unfriendly and rather rude. There was an air of unwelcomeness.
Very very clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful garden ! Would definitely go back
