Super Clean Best Hotel for the money in Platja d'Aro

Very old It does not have any % of sound proofIf you dog is barking you get notificationBut if people are drinking all night long on a balcony or room you will hear them pretty niceIt looks and fills like back to 2000s

Location was great. Free parking. Spa amenities available. Good bed.

-Good Location: Close to the beach & center-Friendly Staff-Big Balcony

-Not really pet-friendly. To charge 20 Euros per night for a small dog is overpriced. -They say they have free parking on booking.com, but it's misleading. There is no parking at the hotel. It is public street parking. So there is a risk that you don't find a spot on the street or much further away.-The spa / Sauna was under maintenance when we arrived-Sauna & whirlpool are not included in the room price (additional costs).

Nothing really. The court yard was clean.

Location. Directly beside McDonalds, which operated until 1.30 am, but partied till3 am. Cheap nasty bedding, uncomfortable bed past its prime. Air con that was unchangeable, and although it was cold, the directional flap was missing so it blew really cold air directly on you all night while you had very thin cheap bedding. Floor was not clean, rooms need a major overhaul. No double or triple glazing. Traffic noise all night. Safe did not work with key card as was advertised. No parking is advertised was told it is free on the street. The Pool? Advertised but we were told to go out of the property and turn left. There is no pool on site. They did not tell us where it was, the closest we could find was the Sea, around 15 minutes walk away . But it was certainly to the left.

15min walk to the center, which is great if you want to be a bit away of the city noise.The staff were friendly and have a lovely terrace/outdoor area! The buffet breakfast is worth it, but we took it only one day and went for breakfast in the beach the rest of the days. The bathroom was super spacious and we even had a balcony in the room :) + also the room has AC!

We only got the room cleaned out once (we ended up doing 4 nights total) and I would have been good at least twice, being a beach vacation, with the sand and all the room can get messy really quick. But otherwise perfectly fine.

Good shower and water pressure

Disappointed that the spa cost extra when this wasn't clearly expressed as so on the booking.

Great place for the value. Free parking, nice and clean. Near the port, good for morning walks.

The hotel was clean, well ordered and very good value for money. My room was spacious well equipped and had its own balcony. All of the staff I dealt with were friendly and I enjoyed my stay.

Reasonably close to town. Friendly staff who went out of their way to help.

Should have kettle in room. Air conditioning unit was noisy, clicking at regular intervals.

Nice wide beds.

1) Noise from the street during the whole night, I barely slept (some drunk tourists shouting till 3 a.m. plus car noise all night long).2) Some sewage problem in the bathroom, within a few hours there was a very strong and very unpleasant smell, which the bathroom ventilator could not help at all.3) Poor selection of savory options for breakfast, no vegetables; a ton of sweets though.4) Poor value for money, given all of the above

Our stay at Hotel Pinar del Mar was fantastic! There were shops and restaurants walking distance. The beach was also walking distance and other beautiful beaches and parts of Costa brava less than an hour drive. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the air con worked. It was wonderful to have a swimming pool too and we enjoyed many swims during the week. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The cleanliness in all areas and the location of hotel.

There was no kettle so we could make tea and coffee in our room. It would have been good to have an extra rubbish bin in the room rather than one just in the bathroom.

Honestly I like platja del mar I discovered this landscape by chance I found it a very nice clean and secured place to visit the beach is very clean and the city center close to the beach with good restaurants and many other shops ..sure I will be back again for at least one week ???

Breakfast was excellent! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was very good. We appreciated the security of the area and were able to park our car on the street without worry.

Good breakfast available for 10 euro each. Was nice but a little expensive. Location was a 10min walk to the centre and some of the nearest beaches. Nice, comfortable, clean and good value hotel. I would stay again

Pool area very busy and without supervision, we couldn’t enjoy it.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms are big enough. Beds are comfortable. Bed linen and towels are clear. I liked all in this hotel.

There was a little lack of disposable supplies - toothpaste / brushes, combs, slippers. And here are no remarks more.

The location was within a short walk of all the main bars, restaurants, shops and the beach but quiet.The breakfast offered a good choice and was exceptional value for money.Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.The pool was on the small size if there were more than 4 people at a time but very welcome and the sea was just a few minutes walk away.Iced Rioja offered with breakfast - a first for me!

The breakfast offered scrambled eggs and sausages amongst many other offerings but both were cold. The eggs congealed and the sausages sitting in a pool of fat. Not very appetising! The first morning we arrived just as breakfast commenced so it can't have been caused by late arrival.Rooms had a budget feel about them but everything was as promised.
