Return visit from 14 years ago. Good sized room. Quiet and comfortable.

Location and size of the rooms

The nice windows are cold in winter , but heating is good after a while. Must be fantastic in summer time

Great location in this part of Bavaria. Breakfast was great

We arrived late, but Marius at the front desk saved the day with a quick check-in. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with high-quality, practical details. It was a joy to wake up feeling like we were staying in a place where attention to detail truly matters.

A bit disappointing that some of the staff struggled with English—it seems they’re not all used to English-speaking tourists yet. But with a little creativity and some smiles, we still managed just fine!

Came here for a wedding. The room was very spacious and had a great view on the lake. Location was just perfect.

Breakfast was a bit below my expectation in terms of quality.

Wasps! The restaurant was invaded by wasps. It was impossible to eat outside and enjoy the wonderful terrace over the lake. This is so disappointing. Wasps even made their way inside the restaurant…

The location was great, the lake view rooms and the spa facilities were all lovely.

It was a 50th birthday celebration, we were all supposed to have lake view- see booking confirmation. The rooms were not cheap and half the Guests in my booking were in a completely different block - far away with no lake view and it made co-ordinating 9 guests very difficult. The internal telephones did not work .The restaurant was booked not only for breakfast but a celebratory evening meal. However, the staff for the evening had no understanding of either English or German! So the birthday dinner was a difficult undertaking. The rooms in block 4 smelt of cigarettes and had traditional furniture which had taken on the smell.- real shame!

Super old bath; staff very slow and no German and English skills; the main issue was that we left something of value in the room and called 2 hours after departure; we never got it back

Much older than it appears in the photographs, dated interior, prices too high, reception desk staff not too friendly, a clutter of a bunch of different buildings rather than one proper hotel to confuse guests

Everything about the hotel was quite pleasant

We had a pretty poor service for our evening meal - we ended up leaving after waiting almost 2 hours and only receiving our starter - none of the staff, explained, apologised or even asked us if we wanted another drink while we were waiting

Great location. Very spacious and comfortable room. Lake wiev was magnificent.Very quiet night, we enjoyed sleeping.Clean and tidy sheets.

Terrible service at the restaurant. Went to get a beer. Few people at the restaurant. Waited almost 30 minutes for 2 beers. Had to remind the waiter …

This hotel is in a great location and has fantastic access to the lake. There is also a very large lawn in front of the hotel with fantastic views over the lake and relaxing chairs to sit inthe restaurant is also of a very high-quality and they have a very good kitchen and very professional waiters.

Unfortunately we had a very obnoxious person checking us in. When I later called to check from which time breakfast will be open instead of just answering he insisted multiple times that the breakfast opening hours are in the leaflet which I should’ve taken with me from the front desk.. a little detail which only really reflects on him, but still a shame in such a nice hotel nonetheless.

Location and room were both very good as was the breakfast.

The restaurant was in complete chaos. Whilst the quality of the food was good the menu was very limited and lacked imagination. The management and supervision was non existent, the older staff were arrogant and there was a total lack of service. It took 40 mins to get a drink and the food arrived before the drinks. On some tables other guests had waited 2 hours for their food to arrive. Urgent attention required as our experience echoed that expressed by others in media reviews.

Had a suite and was vast! Location is great and staff are very friendly. Breakfast a high for sure!

The outside has a whiff of the 70s and the parking isn’t that convenient if the place is fairly full.

Location, large bathroom, excellent breakfast, short walk to a wolrd-class museum (Buchheim), and easy parking.

Needs better selection on the TV.

We loved the location. Our room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptionally.

The staff in the restaurant (not at breakfast), especially the manager, was arrogant and dismissive of us, I think, because we were British. We ended up leaving as we were left unaided for 15 minutes
