- Very nice resort close to Skala with wonderful beaches nearby. The room was clean and spacious, and the pool just outside of the room was a great option, especially if you like to swim, you can just go out of the room early in the morning or in the evening before going to bed and do some swimming. The food was also wonderful, and the view from the a la carte restaurant is gorgeous. The pools are also very clean.
- Very beautiful view, good area, clean accommodation, very diverse, quality and tasty food, we will definitely come back!
- Staff!, Staff!, Staff, The Staff are super friendly and always anxious to help. We paid for all-inclusive, the main restaurant is 7+, the all-inclusive restaurant at the upper deck is very good but, dishes size are very small. The facility is old, location and views are great.
Cons -
- The room was clean and very comfortable, but however needs a bit of renovation.
- The main restaurant, a lot of food but very far from the Greece excellent tastes.
- The A La Carte could have varied a bit rather than just having fish or meat. I think 4 choices per week would be better.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, both in the restaurant and in reception. Panos in the pool bar was super cool to talk with. We got upgraded to a suite which we really appreciated. The shuttle bus was really good too.

Very kind and helpful staff, lovely spacious room and good facilities
Room, private pool, view, friendly staff, efficient administration.
Location meant there was nowhere to walk to.
Excellent hotel, great staff who were polite and always helpful, especially the lady who cleaned our room.
Hills from our suite to dining or hotel reception were steep, although hotel had the facility to request a lift via a golf buggy.
We were really pleasantly surprised about how much we loved Apostolata. We usually holiday self-catering so this was a departure from that. The evening meals were excellent - always varied and with something for everyone. My son loved the pasta, my partner the vast array of meats and I loved the amazing salads. There was always loads of fruit too. As far as I know every room has a glorious sea view. We loved the fact it was beautifully quiet at night - the pool closes at 6.30pm so no noisy revelling. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful always. The HIGHLIGHT for me was the private cove 5 minutes walk from the hotel where you could swim and snorkel in crystal clear blue waters and see masses of fish! There are beds and umbrellas and it never got busy - this was my magic place :)
The terrace would have benefited from a canopy or parasol - it got VERY hot! Also, there were no laundry facilities - someone in Skala would make a killing if they opened a laundrette (or Apostolata got a few washing machines - even if guests just used them themselves). Apparently the nearest is in Argostoli (an hour away)! I ended up doing a load of handwashing half way through the trip so a drying rack would have been handy. Happily, it's so hot everything ended up drying really quickly!
Outstanding location, super helpful staff. Everyone we spoke to went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and to answer questions. The size of the pool was superb and we loved the snorkelling area. I had a massage and the spa was lovely, as were the staff who again went out of their way to accommodate us. Room had a spectacular view with lovely bathroom. The restaurants and bar area also had incredible views and the music on Monday night was lovely. Also appreciated the shuttle service to the beach for boat trips etc - it was very efficiently run.
The only thing that really let the resort down was the quality of food. The buffet was plentiful but for a five star resort you don’t expect tinned fruit, tinned peas/carrots and frozen croissants. I think if the restaurant had stuck to greek cuisine it would have been lovely (as those options eg in the salad bar were good). But mostly the eggs were microwaved, there was a lot of fried or greasy food and children were offered frankfurters or nuggets or pasta. The a la carte restaurant was delicious but my 12 year old was offered nuggets again or to share with my husband - eventually they made a little extra chicken for her but we had to ask multiple times. The buffet food reminded me of bad British 1980s fare which was a huge shame. The only other drawback was the loud music played in the pool area in the afternoon which we felt ruined the beautiful ambiance. Appreciate others might enjoy it though.
Amazing location. Staff are really lovely. Deep tissue massage was best ever had- definitely treat yourself! Really friendly vibe. The beach area is really lovely with shady trees and steps down to the sea- good for snorkelling.
Some areas need fixing e.g pool steps
It was beautiful, clean, lots of sun lounges and umbrellas available. Lenny and Thomas were so good and brilliant at aqua gym , made it such fun. It has a private little beach too .
Nothing it had everything we needed .
Clean , nice staff , great room
Lots of steps
The swimming pool is amazing. The SPA is absolutely a must-do: massages are high quality and the SPA pool is great with jacuzzi and high pressure water jets. The food served for breakfast and dinner is excellent. A great diversity.
The walls are thin so if you have troubles falling asleep, that might be a problem as you can hear couples walking/talking around. The half board does not comprise the drinks (water included, which was not mentioned beforehand). Toilets are set in the shower, which is a bit exotic.
Amazing hotel, absolutely loved it. We had a swim up room which made the break really special. The food is varied and fresh, AI includes decent wine. Entertainment team are very good. The location is stunning and snorkelling of the rocks is as good as we found anywhere.
Nothing. There are a lot of steps, but staff will provide buggy if needed. My friend and I saw it as a way to burn off the beers! A lot of people comment that rooms are dated, but I don’t see the issue, they’re clean, beds are comfortable and the shower has great pressure!
Good choice of food but mostly it was cold. The property is situated on steep hillside so anyone with poor mobility couldn't use it. We had to ask for a buggy to take us to the restaurant or the pool every time because we couldn't manage the steep steps.
Entertainer, Lenny, was very good but he didn't have any help from the hotel. He had to use his phone and a speaker to play music, even for disco night. No lighting or dedicated dance floor. His aqua gym was brilliant. He also did water polo, darts and table tennis. However guests would benefit from a live singer or a band at least twice a week. So in general entertainment was poor.
Spacious, big pools, there are rooms with pool access, all inclusive options, there is a spa.
It’s definitely not a 5 start hotel and we feel really disappointed with the stay and how all turned out. We expected a 5 start resort experience for a relaxing time with the family and it turned out to be old, uncomfortable, not clean, overpriced place to stay. We called housekeeping to clean, they didn’t come. Then we wanted to get a pillow from housekeeping, they went in while we were in the room without asking. This hotel is for charters or huge groups of elderly people, we were the only young family on the whole resort.
We had the apartment with a private pool which was lovely
The service and food was definitely not 5 star more like 3 star don't know who does the rating
Breakfast was good, location was good, staff were friendly
I didn’t have any complaints
The view was spectacular. The location was perfect. The room was clean and well stocked. The staff were courteous, pleasant and helpful. Overalll everything in the resort exceeded my expectations,
I liked everything from check in to check out all were perfect.
The location and room with a Seaview was excellent. We love traditional Greek food and were pleased that this was served everyday. The beds were very comfortable. Particular staff were very helpful, especially in the resteraunts. One of our party is coeliac and needed gluten free food. This was catered for at an excellent level by the hotel with all food labelled that was gluten free and staff would also happily check with the kitchen. We couldn't fault them with their support with that and our coeliac child had never had so much choice. They also run a free shuttle bus during the day to Skaka. If you like wild swimming, there a lots of hidden bays within 5 km including one at the bottom of the hotel grounds. For us, the location was excellent - we like to be out of the town in a quiet location, we can use bus, taxi or walk to near by beaches. .
At first, some areas looked a big rough around the edges (not looking 5 star as other people has mentioned) for example: the bathrooms could do with a good clean around the edges at the end if season. The shower in the boys' room was a bit temperamental. Some of the plug sockets were a bit loose in the wall. However, for us, all the benefits of the hotel definitely out weighed this and we hope to stay again!
