Hotel Anastazia

Everything was great during our stay at Hotel Anastazia. Delicious breakfast, spacious rooms, indoor pool and the most important of all, the staff! This is a family business and owners are great people! If I ever visit the beautiful Kefalonia Island again, I would definitely stay at the same place. I wish we could have stayed more... Many thanks for making our trip an unforgettable one!

Breakfast was lovely. Had a sea view beautiful but you do not get sun on balcony, did not matter though. Lovely pool, quiet location but plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants in Poros. Anastazia was lovely and very helpful. Perfect short break.

Anastazia and Andreas were wonderful hosts. The hotelIs small and has a really personal and family feel to it. The views from our room were stunning; it is set on a hill over looking Poros port. It was immaculately clean; Anastazia gave us lots of information and advice about the area. Breakfast was a lovely Greek buffet, with homemade pastries and jams, honey, Greek yoghurt and fruit, cheese and meats, breads, croissants and cakes. We loved it. Aircon was great, it was peaceful and quiet.

There was nothing we didn’t like

The staff, particularly Anastazia who couldn't do enough for you. Lovely balconies, great views from both balconies. Nice pool area with lovely view.

Only the beds which were very hard

What a gem this hotel is. Everything was perfect. Anastazia & Andreas were the perfect hosts. The breakfasts were amazing, everything was fresh. The room was huge with amazing views and so clean

Anastasia and Andreas are such a wonderful couple. They are very proud of their hotel and rightly so. As everyone has said how clean it is, it is. Pool was lovely and quiet. Plenty to eat at breakfast. Taverna on the doorstep. Short walk to more, and longer walk to centre. We had a car and would recommend but it's not essential. Poros is lovely and would definitely go back and see our friends A & A

What a lovely family-run establishment in an absolutely gorgeous location! the staff could not have been nicer, the views from our room and the pool/breakfast area were magnificent, and our room was huge! It surely helped that we got an incredible deal

The only thing I would change would be the showerheads in the bathroom - they just need updating, but that's all. Otherwise amazing :) Okay, and maybe some fancier coffee ;)

Breakfast was great, everything tasty and plentiful. Location fantastic, just 10 minutes walk from the centre with amazing views of the ocean and port.

Maybe a couple of comfy chairs in the room, otherwise we were very happy.

Beautiful balcony views , huge airy room . Put kettle in on my request . Breakfast was good with homemade jams .Anastazia and staff were amazing , so friendly and helpful , made you feel at home .

Lovely Staff. The Owner was exceptionally helpful nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was exceptionally clean. Good breakfast with a varied choice.

We have very good memories of Anastasia and her husband. We had a language barrier and despite everything, Anastasia did her best every morning to try to speak with us. A very endearing woman. The hotel is immaculately kept, with very large clean rooms. We had beautiful views from both our balconies. Breakfast was really enjoyable with lots of homemade jams and savoury pastries on offer. Like the balconies, the pool area has beautiful views, with more than enough comfortable sun beds available. Anastazia and Andreas are the consummate hosts. They can’t do enough for you, and make you feel welcome and part of something bigger from your arrival to your departure. They are the epitome of a Greek welcome and between that and the quality of the accommodation it is a perfect match.

Hotel Anastazia exceeded our expectations. This family run hotel is outstanding, we received extremely hospitable service from all the team, the building is superbly presented/maintained and perfectly clean at all times, getting all these aspects right isn't easy, we were very impressed. Anastazia was supremely helpful, she had great suggestions for things to do on the island, and even worked her magic to organise a hire car for us when there was very little available in the area due to the high demand over the summer.The bedroom and bathroom were both good (better even than the pictures) and the air conditioning worked well (this was a welcome relief from the 36c outdoor temperatures), the breakfast was generous and with a great variety, the bar on the pool deck and lunchtime meals were also excellent.The pool was always crystal clean, the pool deck was safe and non-slip and the tiling inside the pool didn't have any crack/chips.

I would have liked an iron and ironing board in the room, but one was available on request so this really wasn't an issue.

The staff were amazing. Anastasia, her husband and son Iannis and another lady were warm, friendly, attentive and helpful. The pool was beautiful and clean; smallish, but we often had it to ourselves! The poolside breakfast was fabulous; a different choice of sweet and savoury goodies every day, plus fresh bread, yogurt, fruit, pastries, honey, juice, luscious Greek tomatoes, cheese, ham, and of course unlimited delicious coffee. No queues! Anastasia's home-made cakes and jams were amazing. Great views from the rooms, over Poros, to the mountains, and over the sea. As a family of four we had a simple suite consisting of two large, cool, air-conditioned bedrooms with a hall and bathroom between them. Two balconies - between the two there was almost a 360 degree view! A couple of tavernas are very close, the nearer one is more traditional (and cheaper). A short walk down to the small ferry port gives a couple more options including pizza. Continuing into central Poros there are more tavernas, bars, ATMs, gift shops, supermarkets etc. Long pebbly beach at Poros, but ask Anastasia to tell you about the hidden beach nearest the hotel! Another well-kept secret is the hotel does bar snacks most of the day and into the evening (recommend their Greek salad!) Easy drive down to Skala for sandy beaches and many more facilities.

It was HOT in August! Next time we'll travel in May!

Lovely friendly family run hotel. Felt welcome from the start. The hotel is immaculate clean. Our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bedding, whilst we were there. Breakfast served on the terrace with homemade bread and Jams. Everything fresh. We were made to feel very welcome throughout. The family couldn’t do enough for us, they helped with travel, buses, hiring a scooter, they even lent us an umbrella and iron and ironing board. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again. Would recommend 100%. One of the best hotels I have stayed in.

We stayed at the lovely Hotel Anastazia for 4 nights. The hotel is run by a very kind and caring family, who will look after you with everything you need. Large, comfortable room, spotlessly clean throughout, very nice breakfast (homemade gem, very good Greek jogurt, homemade cakes, fruits) and lovely breakfast area, by the pool. Superb view of the sea and magnifique sunrise! I felt at home, thanks to Anastazia and her family for a great time! We'll definitely be back!
