    • Francesca was awesome welcoming us. She also booked a restaurant for us on December 26 when almost all restaurants were closed because of holiday season. Wonderful breakfast.
    • Clean and great location in the hills. The lady working at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful!
    • We had a very nice stay at the Florence Hill's hotel. The staff was friendly and funny. The room was really great, large, with a private garden and a big bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were really nice and the swimming pool as well. It is located in a very quiet place in a small village, surrounded by green Tuscan mountains, a great place to fully disconnect.

    Cons -

    • The swimming pool was unavailable for 48h during our stay.
    • The pool is open only until 20:00 . And we arrived late . There is too much chlorine in the pool .
    • the professional spa, and the stunning pool area. Your staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming,

Very big rooms , clean and nice stuff. Very good and complete breakfast. Nice area and close to a very nice restaurant, Leoneia, waking distance . Where we eat the best beafsteak in toscana and good price.

The pool is open only until 20:00 . And we arrived late . There is too much chlorine in the pool .

Very nice location, amazing view, spaceous apartment, very confortable beds.

We had some ants in the kitchen

Our stay was excellent. Nice and quiet location, great breakfast and the flat was perfect for 2 couples, we both had a floor to ourselves and separate bathrooms. I almost ended up cancelling the booking due to some negative reviews on here, but I am glad I didn't because it was a lovely stay. Shame we couldn't stay there longer!

Nothing major, but the kitchen could have had a few extra bits such as dish soap and sponge etc., but we didn't end up cooking anyway.

Beautiful apartment on a mountain top with beautiful nature around it for a reasonable price.

Very unfriendly reception by man who only communicated in Italian. Useless attempts in English, French and German. To be honest: this was not the case at departure.

    Large rooms with patio

Spa was not opened and we didn’t find out until we booked and paid. We assumed the pool wouldn’t be at this time of the year but we where looking forward to Spa. Also advertised restaurant 500m. But nothing for 2.5km. Also we suspect a mouse our small critter in courtyard or walls that kept us up through the night.

We could not enjoy the spa because it was being under revision , which we knew before hand. The room is big, the bed all right. Breakfast good. The place looks nice and it is in a quite little village up the hill.

The bathroom was big but the shower cabin could fit a child, or a really small person at best! There is a useless TV with programs only in Italian, no cable, no satellite, the room was accessible with two keys that were not working very good, And, of course, the general attitude of hotels and restaurants in Italy - they don't really care about their clients, they never go an extra mile to make people feel good.

    do not be fooled!!

Please don't believe the photos and descriptions. It is a fine room, but you can just 'have someone next door'. So they divide the rooms where the in-between is closed but you can hear each other super well. Also, the bar and restaurant is just closed. Everything is so dated, as luxurious as the pictures make it seem, it is not. By the way, there is nothing to do in the area either, so don't let pretty pictures make you feel good.... the bad made our back hurt as well...

We had a lovely family stay in The Florence Hills Resort & Wellness. The pool was nice. It was about 20 to 30 min drive from Florence, so we managed to visit Florence many times. The staff at the resort were amazing. We will definitely come back

The location would be the only likeable thing, for us, about this property. On the hills, with a great view, silent and with "some parking."There is a pool, the size of it or the type ... let's say it is a pool, but not for a 4* hotel.

Although I specifically asked for a parking lot, 5 euro, arriving late we were received by the doorman (Thank you for guarding the premises and nor falling asleep) and he told us, park on the street and give me 5 euro. After showing him that our car (minivan) cannot fit any available space he opened the doors for the underground parking (meaning pressed a button) which had plenty of spaces and not nearly full.Second was the humidity smell in the underground and on the stairs leading to the reception, but we said that's because of the pool and spa.Afterwards it was the room, doors were o humid (at one moment) that the material was bent and the paint was coming off. The room was at the 1st level, but the access with bags or small kids is very difficult, being very narrow. The humidity smell continued.Room : 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, a/c(s), 1 bathroom, 1 balcony ... decent. But, the wall plugs were coming out, the small fridge made a weird sound. And now the biggest issue :( the bathroom : doors for the shower were falling, the light kept shutting down and coming back :( during day you couldn't open the curtain (yes in the Bathroom) because everybody would see you :(.Kids, being kids and playing, got some sunglasses and a lot of dust from under the bed, but I mean a lot of it :(Morning, breakfast ... decent meal (Italian) ... but the so called kitchen was right near the reception, 2 ladies (Thank you for your work) were the ones adding napkins, replenishing the food tables, but also washing the plates and glasses, by hand, near reception ... open to everything :(.All in all ... not acceptable for our family, sorry.

The location is very rural but the surroundings are beautiful.Pool area was good

The maisonette arrangement was a bit off , the adjoining door to the adjacent apartment must of been made of paper . You could literally hear the people next door breathing.Place could do with a lick of paint , starting to look a bit shabby

    8JamesPosted on: 7-25-2024

It was simple but clean, care was being shown to keep it clean. Massimo at reception was especially helpful and went well out of his way to be of assistance.

It may have been a little too simple.

It was a good location between the city of Florence and The Mall Outlet The view from the apartment was beautiful.

I thought the rooms could be cleaner. The garage was complicated to access we had to hold the card for a couple of minutes for the gate to fully open. There were ants and flies everywhere, but I’d say it’s normal for where it’s located.
